The best thing about this small 2nd story apartment is its location in South Park, very close to restaurants, cafes, stores, etc. The apartment was very quiet and clean, and everything worked well. We had to add a guest at the last moment (leaving LA because of the fires in January 2025) and Luci was very accommodating.

The setup for this spot was a little different than I've seen before. Aaron handles the booking and cleaning, but it was on the property of another woman. Both Aaron and the property owner were friendly, prompt and flexible with check-in/out times. location is great and the little home has all you need (TV never worked, but with do much to do within a few steps, who needs it!) would love to stay again

Stephanie, I am a lifelong friend of Luci, the onsite host and owner. We manage the logistics of the listing and she cares for her guests on the ground so there are 2 of us taking care of the guest's needs. Wish you would have reached out to us re the TV (that is our wheelhouse) and we could have gotten you up and running (but like you said why watch TV when you can enjoy South Park!?). Such a cosy place, in a beautiful neighbourhood which has a nice residential feel and lots of great places to go out for food and drinks. The home has everything you need for a comfortable stay and more. One of the best fully equipped kitchens we’ve had! Its location is close to the beach a short Uber ride away, also walkable to other cute neighbourhoods like North Park. It’s spacious and comfortable for two people. The lady who owns it lives next door and is so friendly and great to get lots of information from. The value for money is also great given the pricey airbnbs in San Diego. We felt at home and didn’t want to leave! Host was Also quick to respond to any queries and check in was so easy via electronic keypad, we will be back again! Check out the great Shawarma Guys and sabor a birria taco trucks nearby, the wine bar The Rose, amazing burgers at Station Tavern, local supermarket Target is close by for groceries too. Great location if you're interested in living like a local. Close to South Park's best bars, coffee shops and restaurants. A quick Uber/Lyft to North Park and surrounding areas. Private, quiet and clean apartment with everything we needed for a long weekend in San Diego.

This is my second time booking this rental. The first was for my family that was visiting and this time it was for me! I stayed for a couple nights while prepping to move out of state and it was a glorious place to retreat from the chaos of a big move. Had the best night's sleep in a while and really needed it! The neighborhood is one of my favorites in San Diego. And the hosts are very communicative. I recommend this place highly.

I booked this place for a couple family members that were coming in town to help me with some work in my place. It's one of my favorite neighborhoods in San Diego and I've lived here 26+ years! It's walkable to so many great little places that I love, and my family loved them too. The guesthouse is great and comfy and my family felt safe. Communication with everything was really excellent! Definitely recommend!

awesome place in a fun location! the host that actually owns the place, Luci, is very sweet and offered great recommendations. parking was never an issue. the only bad thing was that the heater in the bedroom didn’t reach the living room so when i was working in there it was chilly. I’d love to stay here again!

This Airbnb is in the best location! It is so close (walking distance) to many of South Park’s attractions and had plenty of street parking. Communication with Aaron and Luci was easy and clear and the pictures are accurate. Very cute spot in a very cute neighborhood. I would stay here again!

Apartment war ziemlich sauber. Bett war sehr bequem. Lage ist sehr gut. In South Park gibt es einige gute Restaurants. South Park wirkte relativ sicher. Fluglärm hat man zwar, ist aber fast überall in San Diego so und war für uns nicht störend. Check In verlief reibungslos und Kommunikation war super. Würden das Apartment weiterempfehlen.

This is the perfect sized home in the perfect location for a solo vacation in SD, but would also be lovely for a couple or small family. You get to live a day in the life of a local South Park resident. I loved that any essentials were within walking distance, there is always an overabundance of amazing restaurants, cafés, food trucks, etc. A walk in another direction will lead you through breathtaking South Park neighborhoods, head west to explore Balboa Park! Even having Grape St Dog park a few blocks away, what a happy place to watch the sunsets. The vibe of the home was so classically bright, clean, and styled in an inviting and cozy way. It was a wonderful surprise to find all my need any essentials I would need to prep food in the well stocked kitchen. Comfortable bed with plenty of extra pillows and linens, new AC, and lounge sofa all made me want to just relax here forever. I adored all the individual thoughtful touches, creature comforts provided. This house felt quiet, safe, clean, and welcoming. I had a truly incredible weekend of zen recuperation, and I'm already looking forward to my next stay!

We had a great weekend getaway here! Loved the cute decor and Luci the owner had a book of local tips & recommendations which was super helpful and spot on. We liked the location as it was walking distance to some cute restaurants and close driving wise to the beach. We had everything we needed in the space from kitchen utensils to beach towels.

This is second time staying here for me this year. South Park is a wonderful neighborhood in San Diego and this apartment location can't be beat. Beautiful, cozy decore. Brand new oven. Firm bed and great water pressure! Everything you need to have a home away from home. It's very private. Upstairs above garage of the main house where the owner lives. She is very kind.

Truly a home away from home. The apartment has everything you could want. I stayed solo for 11 nights and loved every moment. Quiet and private. Beautifully decorated with a retro/European feel. Prime location in South Park. Safe and easy street parking. Plenty of great spots to walk to. Owner Luci is very cool and nice and contact Aaron is great and had lightning fast responses. A/C in the apartment is fab. Water pressure is rad. Bed is VERY comfortable! Definitely great for solo or couples!

This stay is an amazing little gem! Located in a quaint neighborhood in the city, central to many of San Diego’s great offerings. It’s located walking distance to loads of darling boutiques and restaurants. The accommodations are super cozy with a retro vibe that still makes you feel at home. Our host had the place lit with the heater on (as it was a bit chilly during our time of visit) making a very warm welcoming. My husband and I loved it!

Really appreciated owner Luci's tips on the beach, loan of boogie boards and beach towels. Fresh lemons, too. Extremely thoughtful and right next door. This is a great neighborhood, very convenient to everything - zoo, Balboa Park, beach, restaurants, shopping. Great quaint cozy spot! Quiet walkable neighborhood with all the right eateries and stops within 5 mins by foot. The place is cute, quiet, and feels like a retro throwback to the 50’s in a fun way. Would stay again especially if Luci is around. She came to greet me with a big smile:-) She’s an amazing owner/host with a big heart and warm soul.

Small but great for what we needed. Bed a little hard and creaky, bath/shower plug doesn't drain well. Luci was very welcoming. Close to bus stop. Close to laundry mat and a few cafes and restaurants.

Our stay was very pleasant and peaceful. Betsey was a wonderful host. She was incredibly hospitable and even brought us lemons from her lemon tree in the back of her home! The location of the rental is perfect. It is literally a block from the local Target and is in walkable distance of tons of cafes, bars, restaurants, etc. If you like golfing you can walk to the golf course in Balboa Park. The bed was extremely comfortable. Best sleep I had in a while. Again, adorable, quaint place. Great location and beautifully hospitable host.

This was a cute over the garage apartment in a fun neighborhood. It's a humble set-up, but clean and nicely decorated. We slept well in the bed and used the kitchen for breakfast. It was fun walking to neighborhood restaurants, petting dogs, and enjoying a couple of lemons from the tree in the yard. The communication for getting in was excellent and the onsite caretaker, Luci, checked in during our stay to make sure we had all we needed. We had a great experience at this location.

The location is great. South park has a lot of nice little shops, cafes, and restaurants to check out. The apartment is a great size and convenient to downtown or mission valley. The only hesitation I would have to book here again is the lack of in unit laundry. There is a laundromat only a block away!

Nice quaint little place in a really great location in South Park. You can easily walk to shops and restaurants in the area. The bed is pretty firm, the way I like it!

Nice house in south park close to cafés and restaurants. the neighbourhood is quiet and you‘ll sleep very well and feel at home. the apartment is clean and as in the pictures on the website.

We loved staying in this place! Clean, sunny, great location. We walked to breakfast closeby most days. Easy street parking, usually right out front. Great communication when we needed to extend our stay one more night and we also got a wonderful parting gift of a box of lemons we picked from the back yard!! Thanks so much!

We stayed here for a week and it was a charming little place to rent. Luci the owner lives next door and she was so helpful and kind when we needed anything. The bed was comfy and there were plenty of extra pillows and blankets. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessary items needed for making food. Our trip wasn’t as great as planned, when my daughter got food poisoning but everyone was gracious and helpful, and sent cleaners the following day. I don’t know what I would have done without the kindness from these people and I am so glad we had a comfy, cozy, and safe place to stay. The neighborhood is also very quaint. There are little shops and restaurants all within a short walking distance, as well as an express target. The location is super close to the zoo as well and the highway.. very convenient location! The apartment was perfect for my small family of three. The South Park neighborhood, just outside of Balboa Park, was a great spot to stay. Easy walk to local restaurants and shops. Got coffee and an acai bowl from Captain Kirk's Coffee every morning (going to miss that). Communication with the landlord was easy and the advice on local things to do was very helpful.

We were staying in San Diego to visit family who live in the neighborhood. We were already familiar with the area, and really enjoyed the apartment. It had a nice retro vibe, and the couch in the living room made a very comfortable twin sized bed for our daughter. We didn't really get to use the kitchen but it seemed like it had all the basics. We also appreciated the easy check in and clear communications. The owner lived next door and let us borrow beach gear, which was nice. Also, the apartment was shockingly quiet given the close proximity to restaurants, target, etc. I would absolutely stay there again.

What a great space! Room for two of us to spread out and get comfy, full well-stocked kitchen allowed us to save money by dining in much of the time, great location within walking distance to fun and funky shops and restaurants (for when we didn't want to dine in!) and short drive to the beach, Balboa Park, and really all points San Diego. We stayed for six nights and loved finding fresh lemons off the lemon tree in the backyard waiting on the kitchen table! Aaron checked in on us shortly after arrival and Luci (the owner) stopped in for a visit the next day. A very gracious and knowledgeable hostess, we were privileged to see her studio and artwork in her home next-door, what a treat! Also appreciated the ability to borrow beach chairs and boogie boards for the beach visits. The kitchen was used extensively and had almost everything I wanted to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinners - only thing missing was tongs (and was able to make do). Parenthetically, I burnt more than 50% of what was prepared, so consider yourself forewarned that both the oven and the stove seem to run hotter than normal (it COULDN'T be my skills, right?!?). (Also note that as a result of one such mishap, we learned that the smoke detectors work ;-)). The bedroom was very comfy with plenty of storage space for a week-long stay. The first few days of our stay were unseasonably warm and the bedroom did get warmer than the other rooms: the ac helped but it was still a touch warm. After that though we were able to sleep with the windows open and it was perfect. There is some ambient light through the windows but not enough to bother either of us. Water pressure in the shower is great! Towels were plush and comfy and the addition of toiletries (including sunscreen and aloe gel for when the sunscreen is haphazardly applied) is greatly appreciated. Decor (including Luci's own photographs) throughout is delightful, really love the lava lamp in the living room :) WiFi was fast and we had no issues. One warning: prolonged sitting on the couch in the living room led to back/neck pain for both of us. It was relieved by using some of the extra pillows as back support. Overall this is a great home to stay in: very private and easily accessible, perfect location and all the comforts of home. Highly recommend!

Our stay was pleasurable. The place looks exactly like the photos. Is close to all tourist destinations. The communication with Aaron and Luci was excellent and they were always available to help us.
