Amazing Pacific Beach Bungalow

Kara was quick to respond and the place was very solid. Location is walkable to the beach. Would definitely stay again!

great location right in the middle of Pacific Beach, lots of easy quick food in the area, Kara was extremely communicaive with any questions we had. the unit is a little dated, could hear upstairs neighbors in the middle of the night, but otherwise had everything we needed for our stay.

We will stay here again! This home was exactly what we expected it to be, including an easy, dedicated parking spot. We could walk to everything we needed and especially the beach! Very clean. Felt relaxing. Slept well.

This place is within 10 minutes walking distance of PB beach, it was great! Kara provided towels and recommendations too. Sometimes the app to check in/out can be very slow, but it was great. Very clean too. The pictures are pretty accurate, but it was smaller than I expected and in a condo/apartment complex. Being said, it’s in a great walkable part of town too. The Host is also very responsive, but unfortunately there is a fee associated with wanting to check in/out early, leaving items behind, etc. This is all clearly stated in the description Kara gives once you check in.

Amazing condo to stay at! Location was great, the place and stay was great too. Entering the house the place was comfortable and clean. We visited San Diego for a week and am happy with our choice to stay with Kara. Few unfortunate things were first night, we found out our shower curtain was being exchanged but the shower curtain rings was missing so we had to mcguyver putting up the curtains, and garbage disposal was not working properly so it led to the kitchen sync backed up and a bit smelly. The great thing however is how fast Kara responded and handle the situation super well. She was responsive, gave quick and prompt resolution once we contacted her and just overall wonderful. Despite the small things that needed some help from the host, the overall stay was wonderful. Great parking spot, amazing amenity, comfortable bed and just a great stay.

Absolutely loved my stay at this Pacific Beach Airbnb! The location couldn’t have been better—just about a five-minute walk to the beach, with vibrant cafes and everything you could want for a perfect San Diego experience nearby. Kara and her place was excellent! She was very responsive and the location is very perfect! Walking distance to almost everything in PB. The home was fairly clean. I’ve read some responses and reviews and there was multiple complaints about the floors. This was the same for us. The floors were extremely dusty and dirty and after taking our shoes off for maybe an hour in there, our feet were black on the bottom. That was throughout the whole house. Other than that it was a great stay and very convenient on what we had going on. Kara is wonderful it was just that one complaint for us. Thanks again Kara for your home and your responses.

Great quaint place, clean and bright, very comfortable big beds. Great location, 10 minutes walk to beach, 10 minutes to bay, five minutes to restaurants, smoothies, coffee, grocery. No noise issues. My fiance and I booked this place very last minute and it was just what we were looking for. The parking spot was nice to have since parking can be hard to find on the streets and the place was spacious and clean. All of the wall air conditioning units were very dirty and the second bedrooms air had an odor coming from it when it was turned on. One last thing that we felt was a negative was that you can't have too many lights or air conditioning units on at once or the lights flicker. My fiance was showering while I was in the other room with the light on and blow dry (no air conditioning running) and the lights kept flickering like we were going to blow a fuse. All in all, we had a great time staying here with some minor details to note for future stays!

Lauren, thanks for the heads up. We typically service the AC units at the end of summer (which really means October so they were in need of a filter cleaning for all the summer use). Not much we can do about the electrical but ask people to be conscious of their electrical use when in the unit.

This is a cute little place in a great location. The host was easy to work with and gave detailed instructions on parking, use of a washer, wi-fi. The unit is old and has some quirks but is cheery & beachy. We would consider booking again. The unit is listed as sleeping 6, which it can but a heads up- we didn’t have bedding for the pull-out couch and only enough towels for 4 in our group of 5. I let the host know so hopefully this will be corrected.

A great place to stay that is a good overall location within walking distance to the beach and walking distance to the bars and restaurants also. The place was well furnished, clean, and had great comfortable bedding which is very important to me. Highly recommend for a beach vacation spot within walking distance to everything.

This is a clean, spacious and bright apartment located in the heart of PB, very close to the beach. I highly recommend it. There was some noise from the upstairs apartment (floors are creaky when walked on) which was minor. Overall it was a delightful stay. PB and Mission Beach areas are so fun! Great for my 11 year old daughter and 70 year old mom. Will definitely come back!

The place is adorable I just didn’t expect it to be in kind of a sketchy area. Police cars and sirens filled the street every single night to a point where it was noticeably concerning. It was not just a usual occurrence of them, it was extremely excessive.

Great place, set back just a bit from the beach. Perfect walking distance to beach or bay. Hosts were very quick to communicate from start to finish. This apartment was appropriately advertised and we were deeply satisfied with it. We had 3 working professionals living in the apartment for a month and it worked out seamlessly. The greatest asset of the apartment is that it is 4 blocks from the beach. This location is fantastic and allows for daily trips to the beach. The host was very receptive and responsive when the heater was not initially working and had the problem fixed within 24 hrs. The grill in the back is another great item of the place for people who cook. The only con of the place is that there is no dishwasher. I would stay at this property again and recommend it.

The place was perfect for our stay. The whole house was stocked with the little things we needed, it was a great surprise. This place is on a busy (noisy) road so take that into mind. We knew that going in and it wasn’t a big deal for us. It was nice to have 2 bedrooms. Couch was comfortable for 2 adults and a teenager. Kitchen was set up really well. Location was in walking distance to the beach, grocery stores, shops and a variety of restaurants. The only issue was that the master bedroom bed was really firm but that is a personal choice and not one I take off points for. Parking is not in a garage but in front of one in the alley so we were glad we drove the car and not the truck. We would stay here again. Aaron was super responsive with all communication!! Great host!

We loved our stay here. Easy check in/out. Great neighborhood with lots of shops and restaurants to walk to. Some of the boardwalk shenanigans makes you a little uneasy, but lots of people around! Communication was great. The condo is a short walk to the beach, tons of restaurants, shops and a grocery store. The complex was quiet and all well kept. Things were well stocked and the laundry and appliances were nice. There were 4 beach chairs, boogie boards, some toys and umbrellas in the garage. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well. We had a great time in San Diego!

This property was wonderful! We used to live nearby and have a friend that stays in the same building and the whole place felt like home vs a vaction rental. Its a short walk to coffee places and the boardwalk. You can even walk to belmont park using the boardwalk. having parking is a plus after a long day at the beach or outings and not having to fight for street parking. 100/10 recommend staying here if you want to vacation in Pacific Beach!

My family and I had an amazing time at this bungalow. It was clean, quiet and located within walking distance of the beach and the bay as described in the description. The host was also very responsive and kind which made our experience even better!

Few minutes walk from everything and relatively quiet for a family trip. Aaron was very communicative. The place had ac units and parking. No dishwasher or laundry in the unit (there is a communal pay machine) but for a few days at the beach that’s fine. Would stay here again!

This little place was perfect for the 4 of us. We came to see family that lives near by. It was an easy walk to the beach, restaurants and Ralph’s grocery store. Property was quiet and comfortable. I would stay here again. Property manager was responsive and made check in and out a breeze. Thanks

The house is clean and neat, but the real win here is the location. Walkable to beach, grocery store, gyms, coffee shops, bars, and more! Our group needed more towels dropped at the house and the host was quick to communicate and informed me as entries would happen to the house. Was a great stay for a group of 4 adults!

The apartment was clean and in a nice location, close to the beach, farmer's market, and places to eat. It could use some upgrades, but overall it we were satisfied with the stay. It would be nice if the windows were more functional to let the cool evening air in, or if the window air conditioners were less noisy. Communication with the host was excellent.

I stayed here for four nights and it was great. The beds are very comfortable and I appreciated that the parking spot worked out perfectly. The rental was clean and had everything we needed. The owners were very quick to help me when I asked questions.

We had a great stay at Pacific Beach. It is close to the beach, and we had access to beach towels and beach chairs on the property. The host provided clear communication, and the house was clean. It is located in a nice neighborhood with restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Private parking in the back was a bonus.

My daughter and I stayed here for 2 1/2 weeks because she moved here. It was a great location - walkable to a lot of areas. It was very comfortable-beds were comfortable and living room couch pulls out so it was comfortable watching tv. Could have more kitchen pans/utensils but it was workable. Place was very clean - could use some touch up paint on doors. Also I worked remotely and needed to purchase some extension cords due to limited outlets (needed for second screen and printer) so that would be helpful! Would definitely stay again!

Cute place just a few blocks from Pacific Beach. Very clean. Lots of restaurants & shops within walking distance. The host responded very quickly to our questions. The neighborhood felt safe. We didn't spend too much time in the house as we were there to explore San Diego and move my son into college, but I would definitely stay here again in the future.

The place was in a perfect location for our week-long stay with friends! The beds were incredibly comfortable and there was plenty of room for us all to hang out. We were very pleased overall with the place and will be back!

Great little place to take in all that San Diego offers. The unit is away from the hustle & bustle of the Pacific Beach, but a few blocks walk and you’re at the beach. Kids enjoyed the beach toys and boogie boards. Two beach towels were there for use; adding a few more would be nice. Cleanliness was ok… a new broom or even a small vacuum would be a nice addition. Great ice cream spot around the corner at Pacific Beach Ice Cream Co. Property manager, Aaron, was quick and responsive.

We had everything we needed in this rental. The rooms were clean and the supplies in the kitchen were great! It is blocks from the beach and mission bay so we walked everywhere. A perfect place for a vacation to San Diego.

Close to the beach, restaurants, clubs. We walked everywhere, even a supermarket just 2 blocks away. Loved having an assigned parking space and access to beach gear. Loved the decor in the unit, very cute. Beds were comfortable as were pillows which is a rarity.
