The place was close to the beach and all the restaurants. We felt at home and comfortable. It was helpful that there were beach towels and chairs. We would stay here again.

Amazing location. So close to the ocean and also walking distance to gym, grocery… the host was great with communication and amenities were spot on. Location louder than we would've liked on weekend nights, but that was not in hosts control. Would still stay here again.

Excellent location right near the beach! We appreciated have some beach chairs available to use, they were perfect for watching the sunset. Bed was very comfortable. We also appreciated having off street parking; the Nissan Rogue we rented fit in the space but anything bigger would have been challenging to park. Bathroom was lovely and extra towels were provided. The whole area is very walkable, with restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery nearby.

Communication with host was extremely quick & helpful! The place was just as described. It was a perfect location being a few houses from the ocean/boardwalk & very close to the bay. It was within easy walking distance to all the action & restaurants while being in a quiet relaxing area. The place was extremely clean. The bed was comfortable and shower great! The covered carport is small, but we were able to fit our Kia Sportage in no problem! Loved all the supplies including beach towels, chairs, & boogie boards. We would absolutely stay here again!

The location was perfect! There home was just as described. It was clean, cozy and just what I was looking for. There were many local restaurants, bar, and coffee shops as well as convenience/grocery stores near by. Everything you could need for a quiet, relaxing, chill stay is all within walking distance. The location is super convenient because you‘re close to the beach and can walk to restaurants, bars, shops etc. There‘s also a bus stop closeby. The walls are thin though and you can hear the people upstairs and outside very well.

This property is very pleasant and nicely kept. The location is perfect, about a block and a half from the boardwalk and beach. We easily walked the .4 mile to buy groceries at Ralph's. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again! The only complaint regarding this stay is that there was some serious renovation going on in the unit above us, and we were not informed. Loud drilling and hammering starting at 7:30 AM and lasting for hours, for at least 3-4 of the weekdays we stayed. Luckily, we left around 8:30 AM daily to be out and about. Perhaps the property manager did not know, but it seemed to me that the units were all part of the same business. It would have been nice to be informed and even offered a discount.

The place was clean and close to the beach. There was an issue with the painter taking the parking spot and telling me I can’t park there for a couple days. Then they painted the floor outside and made it difficult to go in and out plus I was unable to use the table and chairs outside while it dried. The place itself is nice I just wish I was informed of the inconveniences before I stayed.

I recently stayed here with my girlfriend and parents and we loved it. I originally booked it for just the girlfriend and I, but the trip turned into a family vacation. We added my parents to this place, and the rest of the family stayed in another property around the corner. Communication with the property owners was super easy and responsive. They were very helpful throughout the process, and were able to add my parents to the booking without issue. This was a huge plus in my book. The property itself was really nice. Some of the photos are a little outdated (ex: there's no rug under the living room sofa), but overall it was as expected. I couldn't believe how close it was to the beach! It was a little tight having 4 adults in a 1-bedroom/1-bathroom, but the space was surprisingly sufficient for the most part. The one and only downfall was the sofa sleeper. It's not adequate or comfortable for two adults, and the pull-out portion didn't stay connected to the sofa, so we almost fell in-between during the night. It's probably fine for kids or teens, but it didn't work for us. Luckily we thought ahead and brought an air mattress, so we used that for the remaining nights. As mentioned in other places, overnight parking near the beach is a hassle, so the assigned parking space (although a bit tight) was super convenient. Overall we loved our stay here. Not recommended if you have more than 2 adults in your group, but it's perfect for couples. I would definitely stay here again with just the girlfriend.

This is a great location just steps to the Boardwalk. You can easily go from the beach back to the unit for meals or bathroom breaks. They had good beach supplies chairs boogie boards umbrella's. This property is small but has everything a couple or close friends could need. It's charming and comfortable - not just a flop, although it's so close to the beach, food and activities that it could be! The water is so close you can smell it and hear it from the door. The kitchen was well equipped, everything was clean and the outdoor patio and shower was awesome to have. The friend I went with is picky as heck and she loved it too. 10/10 we'd go back.

With a well-equipped kitchen and plenty of beach equipment this attractive and well laid-out rental provided all we needed for our three-day beach getaway. The location, a minute's walk from Mission Beach and a few minutes from the Bay, is great, and a parking space is even provided, though maneuvering into it was tricky for our Rav4. We have cable at home, so the Roku TV took a little study for us. Overall we were well pleased and would happily stay here again!

Although our first time in this location, not our first time at a "beach house". We will definitely be returning to any location that this firm is associated with. The room was as described, perfect for the two of us. It was very clean on arrival and hope we left it as we found it. While not important to most, on a rainy Wednesday night we were able to download the ESPN app for the Roku TV and watch our niece at her collegiate soccer game. Kitchen is well enough equipped. BBQ was great. The "beach equipment" included Tommy Bahama chairs, which are the best and were well used. We will be returning, we hope on an annual basis. Location of this unit is exceptional. One small word of warning, watch your toes around the bed. It's a toe grabber. Now for the beach community experience. While up to the last two days of our week here were great, a group of about 5 families occupied one of the units close by. They had no problem letting children stay up past midnight making noise as well as the parents up till after 2AM doing the same. Can't choose your neighbors.

We had an absolutely wonderful 5 night stay in this awesome bungalow! We have rented many places on this beach over the years (26) and this was by far our favorite. Yes it is a bit older (we love the relaxed charm) however it was clean, cozy, and accessible to everything! We enjoyed using the grill several nights and overall relaxing in our private bungalow. We really appreciated the "extra" touches such as: plenty of towels, nice beach items for use, keyless entry, fans, coffee pot, toaster and plenty of cooking utensils. They aren't stingy with essentials as some rentals have been, such as plenty of paper towels, dish soap, hand soap, toilet paper, spices and garbage bags. We can't wait to book again!

So my S/O & I booked this place after reading multiple reviews and proximity to the beach. Communication with host was a breeze as was finding the bungalow. The place is pretty much as advertised, small, quaint and perfect for the two of us. It was nothing fancy as these beach bungalows are a little on the older side but it lent itself to the charm. She and I enjoyed strolls on the beach every morning and evening. The location was pretty good as it’s close to everything; grocery stores, coffee shops, restaurants etc. Bungalow also had plenty of beach supplies too such as chairs, umbrellas and boogey boards (we brought our own). **A note regarding parking** for those of you reading this review, unless you have exceptional parking skills (I do…former delivery driver lol) I do NOT recommend driving anything bigger than a small SUV or crossover as the parking spot is tiny and alley way is very narrow. There are a few things that could be improved on to make stays more pleasant for future renters: 1st was the screen on the security door was torn and we were not able to use it as in leaving door open to enjoy outside weather as flies would constantly get into bungalow. 2nd: The kitchen could use a little updating as in a new toaster that actually works & some more kitchen supplies; maybe one or two extra pans, cutlery and basic kitchen staples…a spice here or there. On our 2nd or 3rd night, a group of young adults came walking in from public sidewalk, came into our courtyard and helped themselves to relaxing on our patio and using outdoor shower. They busted the latch to the little wooden gate to courtyard in the process. It was a little off putting as I know they were not staying on the property. All of this though would not deter us from staying here again. The week we spent here was relaxing and a much needed break for the both of us. Pablo & Melissa.

My cousin was visiting from Germany and we wanted a few days of relaxation and catch-up time.. this property was PERFECT!! The location was great* we could walk to coffee, food, and bike rental. We rode for a couple of hours, came back for lunch on the patio, rode again, then faux goodnight to the sun, with a glass of wine, at the end of the day. Perfect north Mission Beach location—in the heart of it all. Comfortable bed, all the basic amenities. No dishwasher, but who really needs a dishwasher on vacation? Owners were helpful and made sure we were settled without being overbearing. Also bonus: the parking space is generous by Mission beach standards. Still wouldn’t bring a large vehicle, but definitely doable in a regular midsized car :)

We had a great stay at Ben’s beach bungalow. The location is great and an amazing value. The property was just as described- maybe even bigger then we anticipated. The check in process was very easy and great communication with the host. The parking is as described and best for smaller cars- we didn’t want to risk our van so we found street parking fairly easily.

The location and the response from the host was great! I would agree to others reviews that it didn’t look as modern and things were missing (ottoman, rug, gray couch). It didn’t bother us so much but might if you’re a stickler to these kind of things. It was pretty noisy on occasion but what can you expect being on the bottom floor. But overall it was good.

My husband and I had the most wonderful time at this little beach front property celebrating our 26th wedding anniversary. The house is located just steps away from beautiful Mission Beach, delicious restaurants, fantastic retail shops & lively nightlife. The house had a variety of beach equipment to use (chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, etc.) which was very convenient being that we flew in from out of town. We would definitely love to stay here again and would highly recommend.

It was the perfect location! Steps to the beach, which was super convenient to make food/drinks, use the restroom, etc. Super comfortable bed and pillows! It even had beach chairs and extra towels. Very comfortable, and we had everything we needed! The lock to get in and out is easy to use, but the door knob is a little tricky to get use to. Only complaint was how loud the people were upstairs. You can hear every footstep. Couch is different than in the picture, but we didn't care. It was fine.

The property was perfectly located. We’ve been to Mission Beach many times and knew exactly where it was. The furniture has changed since the photos and I was kind of looking forward to the chaise on the couch in the photo. “Recently renovated” not sure what that means, maybe different furniture but the floors are worn and the baseboards scuffed. The description also says patio is solely for your use but that’s not the case either. We didn’t mind as the users were using it when we weren’t. The portable AC unit did a fine job keeping the whole place cool even though they have it set up in the dining room. We just had the two ceiling fans going to circulate the air. All in all a great place to stay while in Mission Beach.

We checked in on Friday afternoon, we were expecting a 2 bedroom and therefor 2 beds but the couch was the other “bed” that didn’t stay in place through the night. Other than this the property was clean, comfortable and the landlord was pleasant.

My boyfriend and I just spent an amazing few days at the vacation rental and had the best time! The location, the neighbors, the local activities, and even the communication with the company was all amazing. We didn't want to leave and were blown away by the positive energy of the people in the community and our neighbors. Thank you for the wondeful place to experience all that we did:)!

This property is exactly as shown in the pictures. Perfect size for my wife and me, and it couldn’t be in a better location. The beach is 30 seconds away, and so many good places to eat are only about a 10 minute walk. We didn’t need or want anything more.

A few steps from the beach. Quiet. Clean. The bed was comfortable. Outdoor shower. We enjoyed it. Next time I would want a more attractive patio and grill area.

My experience was good. I have never done VRBO before. I will use it again. It was nice getting a check in letter that was very descriptive about where to park. Then a check out letter. Thank you for letting us stay at your place.

My daughter and I rented this apt. Beautiful, renovated, and quiet (rare in Mission). One good Tommy Bahama chair and two others. Four beach towels. Awesome boogie boards. Extra pillows and linens. Kitchen was well stocked. Full sized fridge. Was disappointed that the bikes had been stolen the night before our arrival.

My family and I had an Amazing Stay here! We walked to the beach each day, which was very close by. We rented Bikes and Roller Blades for a day from RADD. My 5 year old Loved riding bikes on Ocean Front Walk! It was not loud during the day or at night at this condo. We were surprised at how comfortable the bed was! Our oldest son slept on the pullout couch. We really enjoyed staying here and would stay here again! I did call the owner prior to our stay and he was very nice and easy to talk too!
