Location can't be beat - you have a view of the ocean from the bedroom and can fall asleep to the sounds of waves. Neighborhood was quiet, but easily walkable. Parking spot was a huge bonus in this area. Living room was comfortable and space was clean. Communication was great and check in was super easy.

Would stay again. Located in a great area of SD. Two blocks from the ocean. Tons of bars & eats nearby. Parking spot is a little snug so just be mindful of that. Good water pressure in the shower though -- underrated feat.

I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The location couldn’t be better—just a quick three-minute walk to the beach and surrounded by plenty of great restaurants. The place itself was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The host was communicative and made check-in super easy. We really enjoyed staying at Aaron’s place. Location was perfect. Watching the ocean from the bed was wonderful. Beware of the covered parking space! I have a small SUV but because of the narrow alley it was challenging to get in and out. Overall great stay.

This is a great location. Easy access to the beach and great for walking to restaurants and shops. Easy and convenient access to the city and attractions. Parking is an asset but beware it’s a tight spot for only a small car/SUV. The ocean view is from the bedroom only, but it is a nice view to wake up to. The amenities like beach chairs is a plus.

We arrived at 2 a.m. - I thought I had left my phone on the plane (with the lock #). We called the 24/7 AirBNB # and, thankfully, they got us in. We awoke to a gorgeous day, complete with a view of the ocean! It is so close to the boardwalk, water, restaurants and rentals (bikes, surfboards, etc.). BBB was a perfect size for the 2 of us and is well stocked, including beach items. The bathroom has great counter space, cabinets and water pressure. We shopped at Ralph’s, a short walk north on Mission - had all we needed. BBB has a nice selection of spices and other items from previous renters. Parking for our unit was tough but we were well informed by other renters to get a compact car, sadly unavailable at 1:40 a.m. We moved some trash cans around and that made parking easier but my husband had to crawl over the seat to get to the drivers side against the wall. GO small! Having the parking space is otherwise a true dream because street parking is tough. Overall, we loved our stay!!!

Cant’t beat the location and the host was very responsive and even allowed us a late checkout with late notice. Only thing was lack of extra blankets and a really small room heater we carried from room to room. He did offer to come out and help though which was nice. Beach girl will return! Cute and cozy unit close to the ocean. You can HEAR and SEE the ocean from the cozy and sunny bedroom. It’s almost as good as being front row…for 1/3 the cost. It is closer to the ocean than it appears and it’s cuter in person than the photos. The unit is cozy; good for a couple & one small kiddo. It’s and older unit but it’s clean, safe and quiet (safe & quiet are SUPER important to me). No party pad or loud neighbors. Also they provided extra towels, beach towels, toilet paper & cleaning supplies. It drives me crazy to run out of TP on vacation! Communication was 5 stars. Aaron answers texts faster than a 911 operator. I will definitely come back to this unit when traveling solo. And will book another unit with Aaron when I come back with my family.

The location was perfect for our needs and we loved waking up to the sounds of the ocean. The view was amazing from the bedroom window and it was about 100 steps to the beach. We appreciated the availability of beach items including beach towels. That was a great touch! Response time to questions were excellent. Communication including check-in/out instructions through Airbnb messenger only (no hard copy instructions or information about the property on the premises). A perk is a dedicated parking spot but the spot is small. My husband has a CDL license and we rented a Prius and it took quite a few tries to get backed into the spot as the space to back in is tight. There is no pulling in. We were told a mid-size can fit but with the storage box in the back of the space, the front of the car will stick out. There is an air conditioner in the bedroom but only a ceiling fan in the living room. Without A/C in the living room, the space is hot. We did not know until after the fact that the A/C in the bedroom can be moved to the living room. This is a non-issue if you come back to the space in the evening. In the evening, about 9PM, it had cooled down enough that it is actually cold in the living room. We would definitely stay here again!

The condo in Mission Beach was so nice and close to the beach. We could see, and hear, the waves from the back of the property. The rooms were comfortably furnished and equipped with everything you need for beach play--chairs, umbrella, towels, and toys. The galley kitchen had everything we needed, including a really cold refrigerator. The bed in the master bedroom was AMAZING! The AC in the unit is a small portable unit that was hooked up in the master. We found with the windows open and the ceiling fans running we really didn't need it. It was nice to have our own parking spot, but it is a bit tight maneuvering into it. Great location!

This place was amazing. It has everything so you dont have to worry about anything from beach chairs to pots and pans for cooking. Management was cool. We had a issues that was addressed right away no fault to the management staff at all. He was very friendly and apologized and fixed the issue right away. We asked for early check-in because our flight was coming in early and he made sure to let us know when the unit was available to check-in. We would definitely look forward to staying here again in the future

I hesitate to provide a review as we would love to keep this “gem” to ourselves! The unit is exactly as advertised; clean, very close to the beach, shops, and restaurants. We used the well stocked kitchen for a quick and convenient breakfast. However, that didn’t deter us from strolling along the boardwalk each morning with a coffee from Saltwater Culture. Or indulging in local ice cream each evening as we walked along the pier to watch the dolphins and surfers. We appreciated the “quiet time” policy as it allowed us to get a dreamy night sleep, listening to the sound of the ocean. We are already looking at our calendar to plan a September stay 😊

This condo unit had a great layout, well equipped for cooking, beaching it (towels, beach chairs, umbrella and boogie boards) and sleeping. The property management know exactly what travelers need. We loved the location and accessibility to the boardwalk and ocean without even trying. We also enjoyed close proximity to the bay which gives a gentle flavor which is also a great option. We are looking forward to our next vacation in this unit next visit to San Diego.

Very close to the beach. The picture of the beach from the bedroom does not do this rental justice. You can easily hear and smell the ocean from the bedroom and bathroom. The property manager has just the right amount of communication. Easy to get in touch with. Ralph's is right up the road. Lots of things to see within walking distance. Close to airport, two AMC theaters, Petco Park, and Air and Space Museum. Make sure you rent the smallest car possible. The end of Mission Beach has an amusement park. Pacific Beach Crystal Pier is incredible. Lots of surfers and beach goers taking in the sunset.

This property was absolutely gorgeous and the communication, instructions provided and entire check-in/check-out process was better than any rental we’ve had, bar none.The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Parking was tight for our SUV, but worked out well and we were grateful to have it. The directions for finding the property were incredibly helpful. We were notified as soon as check-in was available (two hours early!) and asked to text when we left so the cleaning crew had an option to get in early, which we did! The ocean view was epic, especially considering the price point of this property!

We enjoyed San Diego, and our stay at this property. Steps to the beach with lots of food options near by. The grocery, Ralph’s is just blocks away, making it easy to get essentials. There were all the basic spices, and coffee to get you started. Clean and comfortable! Above all the communication was terrific. This unit was perfectly located and the roar of the ocean provided a perfect soundtrack. It's so close I couldn't resist popping out for multiple walks just to see the gorgeous views and the entertainment of the varied and amusing ways people choose to cruise the beach walk. Hosts were highly responsive, though I didn't have any issues during my stay. Clean and fully equipped, the unit is homey and comfortable. The couch was a bit uncomfortable as cushion tends to collapse in when sitting, but I wasn't home much. Also, beware: the garage space is more than tight for parking.

Great communicating management team, great location you can walk to everything and value wise 5+. However, the assigned paking space sucks big time! If you rent this property you need to drive a compact or small four door automobile to get it in the spot.

This was the perfect home base for a beach vacation! There were so many thoughtful details that made it a delightful experience from start to finish! Our host was very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed in such a prompt, organized, and professional fashion! Really appreciated the well-equipped bathroom and kitchen setups, as well as the closet full of beach gear! We flew in and couldn't bring much with us, so this was so nice!!! And the location!!! It doesn't get any better than this! Literally a minute walk to the beach, and a beautiful view of it from the bedroom! The outdoor faucet for rinsing off sand was also super handy! Lastly, if any ladies are experiencing their "shark week" during their stay, I cannot emphasize how much having a really nice bathroom so close to the beach really is a lifesaver!

Loved the proximity to the ocean and could hear the sound through open windows. Kitchen well equipped, bed comfortable and lots of towels. Boogie boards, sand chairs, beach towels provided. Parking was not usable - garbage cans blocking turn in and just too narrow to allow use. Street parking difficult especially on Sunday.

I really enjoyed my stay. It's a few steps from the beach, the sunsets are amazing, within walking distance in either direction to many food options. It was awesome!

The location was amazing and the view from the bed was great! The place had all the necessitates. Interactions with the host were prompt and friendly. They also provided an option for us to have groceries delivered and stocked before we arrived! I would highly recommend this place and will look for properties to stay with this host again! The only thing i would recommend is a makeup mirror or another mirror in the bathroom that's easier to reach for short people!

This is a very quiet apartment a block from the ocean, though in a very lively neighborhood. Best of both worlds. It offers all amenities you could wish for, including all kinds of beach gear (except for a washer). It is very clean, and nicely furnished, so you immediately feel at home. I also worked part-time, which went very well. Communication with Aaron is very efficient - he is extremely responsive and solves whatever minor issues there might be. I even got coffee restocked promptly, when I had asked where to buy.

I loved being almost next to the beach in a quiet neighborhood where I could hear the waves crashing at night as I fell asleep. I would recommend reading all the reviews which cover everything about the unit. I rated it a 4 because it is not quite as pristine as the pictures show (the unit itself is very clean) especially the deck outside the door, and also because the parking was really challenging (as expected, but still a hassle) and the couch needs replacing. But if you accept these items before booking, you will love it.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Very comfortable bed. Easy access to the beach. Well equipped kitchen. Parking space is very very small (as described in the property description) …but just enough for our Toyota Camry. All the other vacation rental parking this close to the beach was the same though. Communication with property management was excellent. Prompt response with questions I had. I would absolutely stay here again. :)

Great location! Quiet and friendly neighborhood that's in easy walking distance to everything. Clean and includes beach chairs and beach toys. Only improvement would be a more comfortable couch. Would definitely stay here again

The unit was just as described and pictured. It was exactly what we were looking for. A perfect location, and the one-bedroom layout allowed us breathing space and a place to get a few minutes of work done. Also the bed was really comfortable! We especially appreciated the attentiveness of the management company throughout our stay. It was a great guest experience!
