Aaron's place was in a great location, very quiet and close to beach and restaurants. The parking was tight as described in the listing but it was great having it as I would not have wanted to be looking for a place to park. There were beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels and plenty of extra supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, coffee and filters. We had everything we needed for our stay and Arron was quick to respond with questions. I would definitely stay there again. We were in a top floor unit so it was very quiet and we never heard any noise from other tenants.

You can’t beat the proximity to the beach or restaurants from their condo. Reiterating what others have said, the carport was tight, but having a spot was great. Overall, their place was clean and welcoming, and they were attentive hosts. It was a nice little getaway.

Everything at this rental was as described, clean and easy to find. The only difficulty for the stay was that the parking space was quite tight, however that was also indicated in the rental details. Absolutely fantastic location, close to lots of restaurants, bars and shopping. And super close to the beach, which was the main point of the trip.

Spent a long weekend in Mission Beach (definitely not long enough). Aaron's place was perfect for what I wanted. Used to live in San Diego so the Mission and Pacific Beach areas were my favorites. This location is in the perfect spot to walk to nearly anything in both towns. Everything was exactly as described, and the instructions were so easy my granddaughter could have explained them to me. Taking a beach chair and walking a few yards to drink my morning coffee in the sand, looking at the Pacific was very Zen. Hopefully I'll be able to visit here again in the future. Awesome place to stay for a beach getaway! Pictures are accurate and host is super helpful and responsive. There were zero issues with check in and host was helpful with directions to location and parking prior to arrival. Beach is just a short stroll away and there are plenty of restaurants and entertainment within walking distance.

Location is great since it is close to both the Pacific Ocean and Mission Bay. The apartment has all the necessities to cook, so all we had to buy is food and drinks. Though there is a window AC unit, it was not adequate to keep the place cool in the summer and the bedroom gets pretty warm during the day. No AC unit in the bedroom, just a desktop fan. Parking is tight if you have an SUV or large car. We rented a Toyota RAV4. It fits, but you have to be very careful getting it in between the upright beams. We enjoyed our stay.

As for the AC, it is a portable unit that can be moved from the living room to the bedroom very easily. We would have indicated that had you reached out. This was a great spot, walking distance to our favorite breakfast spot and biking distance to a lot of other fun things to do with our son. There was quite a bit of noise during the night but that’s out of hosts control, especially over a holiday weekend. I took off 1 star because we only were given half a roll of 1-ply TP for the whole weekend to share amongst the three of us, we bought a couple packs for the next guests.

Chara, thanks for understanding that the holiday weekends at the beach can be noisy (but if you are disturbed, please always reach out...we are connected to most VR's in our area and can typically get an owner or manager to intervene as appropriate). It was good for the price and I would come again. The shower was excellent and the provided beach gear was wonderful. The location was incredible, close to everything you’d want. The parking spot is pretty tight my Prius was snug as a bug in it. It was a bit noisy even for “off season” and a little hot in the bedroom. Could use an updated paint job and some new towels but no biggie didn’t stop us from having a good time!

The location was great! The place was very clean and overall we were happy with the location. The garage opening is a bit low so we had to take the Thule off our jeep renegade but a very small inconvenience. Overall I would definitely recommend this place as the issue we had was extremely minor. Host was very responsive!

Great location for walking distance to the bars in pb! Would recommend bringing an eye mask for sleeping the blinds in bedroom don’t do much to keep sunlight out. Walking distance to the beach as well! Be warned with the parking spot available it is very tight.

Great location! Less than a 1 minute walk to the sand! Aaron was very responsive & friendly. The parking situation is tight, but once we parked we really didn't need to drive again for the 4 days we were there. The bedroom did get kind of stuffy. Maybe a ceiling fan? A review that was left on 9/4 gave a very low rating due to lack of cleanliness. We checked in on the 5th and it was perfect. Really liked the coconut scented bath products. Great to have beach chairs as well as boogie boards to use. Thank you, Aaron Trish & Eric

This spot was perfect for my boyfriend and I! We could hear the beach from the Airbnb, we could easily walk to the beach, the beach supplies were an added bonus, and there were plenty of restaurants in the area. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful location and apartment! Two of us worked from home easily here, Wi-Fi was fine. Nice big tv, very cozy couch. Breakfast nook got great light and had views of the ocean for assessing viability of impromptu surf runs (multiple rental spots nearby). Super quiet, didn’t hear any neighbors or outside traffic. Walkable to PB or MB with lots of restaurants/fun bars and shops along the boardwalk. Parking was tight in my Subaru Outback but after a couple of maneuvers and one of us directing, the car fit great. Host was incredibly responsive and great at providing recommendations. ONLY downside is no washer or dryer. But we used “Beach Laundromat”, recommended by Aaron, and for $24 they picked up, washed, folded, and delivered our laundry door-to-door same day. We could’ve gone and done it ourselves for cheaper, but it was a great (lazy) alternative, and they likely did a better job than we would ourselves. Would highly recommend Ben’s beach bungalows!!

Fantastic location! Just a minute or 2 walk to the beach or bay. The place was clean and as expected. Communication from the host was easy and fast replies. I loved that we could easily walk to many places to eat or the grocery store. Uber/Lyft worked great for further travels. The beach was so easy to get to, the outside shower rinse area was very helpful. Unit was well equipped with bedding and kitchen needs, and even an unexpected little high chair! Beach accessories were convenient and fun to use too. Only complaint was the heat, was hard to get the place under 80 while we were there during a heat wave. And not that the host can do anything about it, but any smells from the neighbor are going to come right in thru the windows be it a BBQ or 420 party smoke, which we got to experience several times. We felt safe though and at home and loved the easy beach access. Without the heat we'd definitely stay here again! PS. the cleaning lady was very nice and had great recommendations for places to eat!

Wonderful place to stay. Absolutely loved the proximity to the ocean and a great place to eat where you sit right at the boardwalk and people watch while you dine only a short walk away -- called Woody's. A/C and beach toys (chairs, towels, umbrella, boogie boards) were definitely a plus. Place was clean and well decorated. It's pretty small but that's to be expected at a beach property. Would definitely return.

Place is clean, tiny, well equipped with everything you need, pyrex to-go containers were thoughtful, only thing is having salt and pepper in the cupboards would be nice. Beach chairs and towels were a big plus for us. Place is a good size for a small family or two adults. Felt there maybe too many bulky chairs, had to rearranged chairs to make it easier to walk thru. There’s a heater, but has no A/C. We kept the windows open while we were out during the day so the place didn’t get too hot when we return in the evening to watch the sunset. Location is perfect, beach is just down the walkway, lots of restaurants within walking distance. We ended up using DoorDash and our delivery was fast and prompt both times. Parking is very tight as in the description, we drove a Toyota Highlander hybrid and it was a very tight squeeze, took us a couple of tries to get the car in. Communication with the host was excellent. Check-in with no problems.

Beach chairs and towels were a big plus for us. Place is a good size for a small family or two adults. Felt there maybe too many bulky chairs, had to rearranged chairs to make it easier to walk thru. There’s a heater, but has no A/C. We kept the windows open while we were out during the day so the place didn’t get too hot when we return in the evening to watch the sunset. Location is perfect, beach is just down the walkway, lots of restaurants within walking distance. We ended up using DoorDash and our delivery was fast and prompt both times. Parking is very tight as in the description, we drove a Toyota Highlander hybrid and it was a very tight squeeze, took us a couple of tries to get the car in. Communication with the host was excellent. Check-in with no problems.

Ben's Beach Bungalow is perfect for a single traveler or small group wanting quick and easy access to the Mission and Pacific Beaches, the boardwalk, Mission Bay and all that they have to offer. The Bungalow is new, fresh and clean, and perfectly appointed. There's nothing quite like hearing the ocean and feeling the breeze, from the comfort of your home. The host is wonderful, with great communication and responsive to any need.
