Charming Private Mission Bay Studio 2

It was the perfect place to stay! Looks exactly like the pictures, there was a mention of construction work in the surrounding area but I genuinely didn’t even notice it! Lots of places to eat around, it was calm and just what we needed!

Great small place for a few days stay. Great host, very responsive and helpful. Good location, very close to different parts of town. The bed is not very comfortable and you can hear a lot of foot steps till late night.

I had a wonderful stay in San Diego! The place was spotless and very comfortable, exactly what I was hoping for. The host was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond — even helping me when my car battery died, which was far outside the normal hosting duties. I truly appreciated the kindness and extra effort. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting the area and would definitely stay again.

Stayed here for 5 days and enjoyed the studio. It’s fairly small since the (Murphy) bed takes up a significant amount of space. The bathroom was spacious and the kitchenette was a great addition to our stay. The studio is a five minute away from the Clairemont station which made getting around San Diego (both downtown and the beaches) fairly easy. There’s also a nearby 7/11 which is very convenient. I would stay here again.

Great, responsive host, very communicative. Finding the place was a breeze. Check in was very easy. The room looked like the pictures. Location was great, we did ride share and also used the blue line to get to Petco. Area was super cute, quiet. Only disappointment was the noise upstairs. If you are a light/mod sleeper, I would not recommend this place. Loud footsteps at all hours, including what sounded like a dog, especially our last night from 10p-2am and started back up at 7am and easily audible with a sound machine. Room got a little stuffy and humid at times. Turning the fan and ac on helped a ton. Gas stove in unit but didn’t see a smoke detector and/or carbon monoxide detector in unit.

Great value for the location, about 10-12 minutes to all of the hit locations (la jolla, sunset cliffs, downtown, little italy, gas lamp, mission beach, old town,...). Unit itself was clean and cozy, exactly as described. It got a little humid but having the fan on and opening the window easily solved that

This was a great spot I was here for work so for one person it was perfect a little tight but this is San Diego! Lol The place was clean with the exception of the shower base what seemed like some mold build up within the caulking seal definitely needs some attention. I was able to park pretty close. Had everything I needed overall a great place to stay close to the beach and really nice views from the neighborhood.

I enjoyed my stay very much! Yes it was a tight fit, but that was previously communicated. Putting up the Murphy bed was pretty much required to move around the room. Perfect for one person, or two very in sync. It was in a quiet neighborhood near the bay, yet had easy freeway access. I felt safe and rested. Thank you!

This was a great location! Quick uber ride to La Jolla and Gaslamp District. We did not use the train station, but it was right down the street, walkable from the air bnb. The airbnb was described exactly as it was stated in the description. It was perfect for what we needed, just a place to lay our heads at night. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect crash pad for a San Diego stay! The location was perfect for everything I had planned for my trip and the spot felt safe for a solo traveler. The place was one of the cleanest airbnbs I have ever stayed in! For the size, it was surprisingly spacious! Everything was thought out nicely and communication was VERY easy. This listing was the perfect location to any thing close in mission bay, area. Everything is just as described in the listing, and VRBA was extremely proactive in communicating all needs prior to check in. The spot is small, very cute and perfect for couples. "Cozy" is the perfect word. We loved the value for what we got. We don't mind a smaller space when it is clean and functional. This space had a large desk area to work, chairs, a full length mirror, wardrobe, large bathroom sink, amazing lighting, huge TV, and even a bottle of wine. The lighting in both rooms made doing my makeup such a breeze. There's a ceiling light right above the full length mirror in the breezeway so you can get ready in either space. We didn't cook in the kitchen but it was more than sufficient if we needed to. You do need to go through a couple gates to get to the space, but the owners made it pretty with flowers, and the door windows are very private. We appreciated all the tiny details they did to make this a lovely stay for guests. Lastly, props to the owners for such a reasonable price. AirBnBs are usually too expensive for us to be worth it, but we actually felt we got a really awesome space for the money spent. We would book again in a heartbeat.

This place is very well done and cute; it looks exactly like the pictures. The shower is great. The wine and coffee to welcome us were a nice touch. Mission Bay park is walking distance and worth a visit. Aaron is very responsive and communicative and made us feel take care of, we were appreciative of that. The only downsides of the place are that the wall bed takes up most of the room so it can be a bit challenging to move around with more than one person with limited walkways, but it’s not the end of the world. Also it is a downstairs unit and you can hear the people above you walking around on the ceiling, plus the fridge runs really loud, so if you are extremely noise sensitive like I am, it might not be the best fit for you, but overall if you’re not super sensitive to noise, you will probably love it because it is really adorable and in a great location.

I stayed here for a week with my husband and our dog. The place was a little smaller than expected, but had all the amenities that were described. The main downside is that there was active construction going on during our stay, so the noise was a little disruptive during the work day. It’s also important to note that this unit is below the main living area, so you’ll hear some noise when the main home owner/tenant is home.

Aaron and his family are fantastic hosts. Aaron maintained great communication from check in all the way thru check out. The place has everything you need and nothing you don't. A welcome bottle of wine and couple of cold beers in the fridge was a nice touch. Comp coffee pods were appreciated as were the body soap/shampoo/conditioner dispensers in the shower. Mission Bay is a quick skip to the west and Sprouts, Starbucks, and other restaurants are just a 2 minute drive up the hill. Street parking but this is not a crazy busy neighborhood so you're able to easily park within a block or less. Definitely geared towards solo travelers or couples/duos that don't mind being close to each other. This one is an easy recommendation.

Small little quaint studio style room. GREAT for myself or maybe for a couple. Had all the kitchen appliances and items needed, super easy in and out. When the bed is down, not much room for activities so it’s convenient that you can close it back up if needed! It was quiet (you could hear people above you, but you’re in a downstairs unit… that’s always a thing and wasn’t bothersome for me!) I will be staying here again for sure, as it is clean, quiet, great location and parking was simple! Great welcome gifts and super comfortable bed! Thanks so much Aaron!

As advertised, "cozy". Small, clean, and the location and price are great. Minutes from the beach and zoo. Really enjoyed it.

This location is very small but comfy. location is great especially if you want to go to SeaWorld. it is about a 15 min drive places such as little Italy or downtown. However it did not feel as private as Iwould have liked due to them living right above you and you can hear their footsteps.

Adrian, thanks for the 5 star review. We do try to convey that this is a private unit on the ground floor of our home and despite some updated soundproofing it is sometimes possible you will hear us upstairs. We agree the location cannot be beat! Vacation Rentals by Aaron

So glad to have found this place last minute! It felt like less than 5 minutes driving to get to Mission Bay. Very close to everything San Diego has to offer. Super clean and comfortable space. Definitely would recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! It was very conveniently located for our outings in San Diego and La Jolla. The unit is very clean, and while it is small it has everything you could need for a short stay. The communication about the check in and check out process was very clear and helpful.

My husband , our dog and I had great short stay in this unit. This place is close to where we used to live, so we know how to get around and bring back all the memory we had in the past. Very close to freeway entrance, shopping, restaurant etc… Even though there is no parking space, you can find on street parking no problem. I recommend this place for single trip or a couple, and will come back next time for sure.

This place is very clean. Very well designed property and in fact feels quite roomy, having all the amenities and essentials that you would need . The host is very responsive and accommodating. Technologically very well integrated , everything has a remote and convenient . Location is perfect and central to drive to various parts of San Diego. Overall a wonderful stay !

Great centralized location of San Diego! Near I-5 and I-8 to get anywhere you need and beautiful views surrounding the property. Everything we needed for two people was on site and made our stay enjoyable. Would recommend to anyone!

The unit is on the small side. But it has all the necessities for a short term trip. The bed was comfortable. The location was was great for Fiesta Island, Crown Point Park, San Diego Zoo. Several local restaurants nearby. Prompt communication.

This studio was exactly as pictured in the listing. It has the amenities you need for your stay and is very clean. The property manager communicated very clearly and was very accommodating. We planned this trip for a quick getaway from the AZ heat with our dog and it did not disappoint. Although the room itself is fairly small, it had everything we needed to cook breakfast each morning to hit the beaches for the remainder of the day. Although there is currently construction nearby, we were able to get the same street parking spot right outside the location. Would definitely stay again!

Quiet neighborhood. Easy check in and out process. Worked out perfectly for me traveling alone on business trip.

The neighborhood is gorgeous, nice, and quiet. Location is somewhat central, so is it not far from major attractions and areas in San Diego such as Downtown, Pacific Beach, Old Town, or Balboa Park. The place is definitely small, smaller than expected, and it can take some getting used to. But it is enough if you only spend a few nights and expect to be out most of the time. Checking in and finding the property is really easy. The place was overall clean, except for some dirty hand towels and some hair in the bathroom. The walls are really thin (though that seems to be the case for a lot of SD's houses), so you'll hear the upstairs residents a lot, the conversations they have, or when they step on the floor. The dog will hear you as well too. Overall for a San Diego rental is a decent place to stay for just a few nights for one person or a couple. Would not recommend for parties of 3 or more.

The place was OK for me. There is construction going on with the place next door. You get woken up by that or the dog. Bed is comfortable, the chairs need new cushions. But hey, I’m in San Diego why would I hang out at the room? Overall I was happy and not a lot to complain about.

The property was perfect for our short three day stay. Weather when we arrived was fairly hot and it was great to have air conditioning as well as a ceiling fan. It had all the appliances one would need for cooking and a fridge and a coffee maker. We used non of the appliances.
