Cute convenient stay in Mission Beach. Easy to walk to beach and restaurants as well as Pacific Beach neighborhood. The apartment was unfortunately quite noisy due to thin walls from upstairs neighbors, but otherwise was a good stay.

Clean rental unit and excellent location. Several amenities for the beach. Kitchen stocked with essentials. Okay value for a 2 bedroom in San Diego. Make sure you read all details of the listing so you're not surprised. Parking was the biggest downside to this rental. Street parking requires moving for street sweeping by 8 am and the closest public parking does not permit you to park past 2 am. We've always rented units with dedicated parking and will go back to that for future visits. We asked for 45 min early check-in and sent a link to pay. I didnt find it very hospitable to require more $. There were ant traps in the kitchen and we did have sugar ants the next morning after we checked in all over our honey jar. It appears to be an issue that they are trying to rectify.

The host was very responsive! The refrigerator stopped working and needed to be replaced. The delivery of the new refrigerator showed up early and the host offered a partial refund for the inconvenience. The place is more spacious than expected. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a super nice stay here! it was cozy and clean and we really liked the self check in. At first we were concerned with parking but once we found the aquatic center like the last reviews recommended we were good to go! some noise here and there upstairs in the middle of the night but nothing that would keep me from staying again. really nice and close to the beach:)

Like everyone else mentioned, parking is something to think about but we had no issues finding overnight parking at the aquatic center or on mission blvd after sunset. This is a downstairs unit so you may get some noise from people who are staying upstairs. Location is great, only a 5 min walk to the beach.

Aaron was a great and very accommodating host. This air bnb was truly a hidden gem! Beautiful spot in the heart of mission beach , lots of great restraunts, shops and close by activities within walking distance. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanness of the place. It is the perfect balance of modern with a homey feel. If you’re like me and love to cook you will have a field day with the abundance of pots pans and cooking appliances (all in excellent condition mind you!). Expectations were defiantly exceeded all around. Thanks again Aaron!

This unit is priced well due to its lack of parking (disclosed in the ad) but we find that most guests simply find a spot for the duration of their visit and enjoy the beach and the walk ability of the neighborhood. We had a wonderful experience with this rental property! From the jump the communication was great. Aaron reached out to let us know we could check-in early because the cleaning staff was done and he even checked back in later to make sure we got in okay, which was very nice. Directions to get into the unit are clear. The space is exactly as listed. Very cute, modern, & clean inside; it was perfect for our little group of 3. It is truly just steps from the beach and the bay, and has many shops/restaurants surrounding. Only thing to note is the air conditioning unit is a bit finicky but you should be able to get it eventually. Additionally, while parking was fairly easy to find on the street, I recommend reading signage carefully. There is street cleaning for a lot of spots Tuesday-Friday, starting at 8am, and we did get a ticket. Finally, note that there are multiple units within the space so understand you may see other folks. Overall, fantastic property and would stay here again/recommend.

This place was exactly what I hoped for. I went here for a girl's weekend with my sister and mom. Communication with Aaron was really simple and he got back to me right away. It has great local restaurants within walking distance and walking along the beach was wonderful. The only hard part of the trip was finding parking. You do have to park on the street and that can be tricky to find. If you're planning on renting a car and driving to other parts of San Diego this will be a challenge. If you're wanting a beach vacation this is the perfect spot.

Great spot between ocean and bay, we were able to enjoy both when we were there. Everything you need, boogie boards, chairs, beach towels, etc. We didn’t drive a car there, but if so parking would be tough (anywhere in that area would be difficult). Great communication. Would stay again!

The property was well stocked and very clean. We were notified in advance that the property was ready early, which was a bonus. Even if we couldn’t take advantage. The only complaints are the noisy unit above. A couple of suggestion’s: reading lights in bedrooms and sound insulations between the upper and lower units.

I really want to have a full review. Pros: It is a great location (but more than 100 steps to the beach) The decoration is beautiful We loved having access to beach toys, chairs, umbrella, and boogie boards. They had a pack and play for my toddler. The kitchen was pretty stocked. The beds were comfortable. The property manager had very quick responses! Cons: The flooring in the bathroom is really messed up and looked really gross. I had seen another reviewer had mentioned this but had hoped it would have gotten fixed by now. Although there was a pack and play available (which was a huge factor in choosing this property to stay at) it was very dirty and we ended up not using it for our child. The fire alarm would go off every single time I cooked and I never burned anything. I could never get the AC to work and it got pretty warm at night even in December. The beds were small. I would suggest having a king size bed in the bigger room. The couch cushions would not stay on the couch. We never used the pullout bed but it didn’t seem to work. We had to clean all the dishes we used before we used them because they weren’t cleaned completely before us. We had to do most of the cleaning before we left but still pay a decent cleaning fee. We would prefer to have some kind of covering over the smaller tall windows because when sitting on the couch you could look right into a place across the street. Same with in the bedroom so we couldn’t get changed in the bedroom. A neutral note: the posting does mention parking not on the property but says that it’s fairly easy to find parking. I was hopeful since we were going in more of an off season that we could find parking easy. You can not. I can’t imagine going in the summer and having to find parking. It would be crazy!! So just be aware that it is not easy to find parking at any time. With all that being said, if the flooring was fixed I would consider staying here again and just have different expectations.

Renting the apartment was easy found on vrbo looked just like the pick. Shower small but enough room for 3 people I believe two couples would have problem sharing a small space but it worked for me,hubby and adult daughter

Overall the stay was ok, just 2 issues. 1. Parking is awful and not properly detailed on the listing; you find out about it when you get the instructions just days before your stay. Needs to be properly expressed that parking is terrible and you will have to walk a ways. Made it difficult with kids having to find parking and walk. 2. No fault of the owner, but the a/c unit was out and we had to adjust the trip based on when the technician was able to come out. Outside of those things we relatively enjoyed our stay.

Centralized to great cafe’s, restaurants, shops and bars . We had great food and drinks at every turn! So fun to go sit on the beach. And we even had a pickleball tournament on the bay side beach . Our family so enjoyed themselves and all the accommodations that the condo provided. Beautifully updated and stocked with everything we needed . Great family trip in the books for Mission Bay 2023. This was a cute little spot and super close to thr beach. My family came and we had a nice time. The only thing was the shower. It leaks out from the bottom so we had to use most the towels soaking up the water. We made due. Everything else was fine.

My girlfriends and I very much enjoyed our stay at this home. It was the perfect location! 1 min walk to the bay and 3 min walk to the beach! Surrounded by great food and activities all within walking distance. Parking was the only pain! I would not recommend having a rental car, if it’s not needed.

Cute, clean, comfortable. Great location - Walking distance to the beach and several nearby restaurants. Easy drive to Balboa Park and whale watching excursions. No onsite parking (noted by owner in VRBO ad) but we managed to find street parking and it really wasn’t bad. If you’re not mobile or it’s a challenge to walk a fair distance (a block or two) then this place it not for you. My only disappointment was the condition of the stove/oven. There were at least 3 missing knobs to the burners making it very challenging to use. One morning after making breakfast, we smelled gas because we hadn’t properly turned the stove off DUE TO LACK OF KNOBS. I’ve worked in hospitality and it is unacceptable that this was not addressed prior to renting the unit out. How the missing stove knobs were missed by the cleaning staff and/or the operations manager is beyond me.

The location was perfect and very walkable. We didn’t have any trouble finding the place. Found the couch a little uncomfy and dirty probably from lots of use but the beds were great. We fell asleep very quickly each night. Kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. The host was very responsive and nice. We found the laundry time constraint a bit odd but were able to do some in the morning before heading out for our day. Overall we had a great stay.

It started out a little rocky because we had issues getting in the door; however, they took care of that. It is a little smaller than the picture and the walls are really light. The first day arriving we heard the people upstairs for hours until they checked out. The house was clean, but it had a slight odor. We had to go buy additional air fresheners. Location not bad and overall it was a decent stay.

The location of the property is amazing. Super close to the beach, the only issue we had was that there was no parking, but other than that minor issue, everything was great.

Nice location. We found parking on the street. This is in a fun area, close walk to the main boardwalk area for restaurants/ beach. Beds were comfy.

This is a great location for access to both the beach and the bay. It is a bit small, but we made it work!! Only thing I would recommend is a new couch for the living room. But great communication with management and easy check in process. Everything was spot on! We brought our food and they had every utensil that you would need. Next time I would love to rent the front unit! Thank you Aaron and Kathy!

This property was the perfect location for our girls getaway. Just steps to the bay and 2 blocks to the beach, with restaurants in walking distance. The property can be bit confusing to find but Aaron provides great directions that are very clear. Weekend parking is tough but during the week we had no problems.

Very nice two bedroom beach duplex. Clean, fresh, and updated. Only negative was that I wish it had parking, because street parking was tough.

Great location and just a short walk to food and drinks. Parking was not too bad but it’s easiest if you park and stay put so u don’t have to worry about finding parking again. Only suggestion would be maybe a new sleeper sofa. Everything else was great!

My husband and my friends really enjoyed staying here! The location is awesome for viewing sunrises on the Bay and sunsets at the beach. It's easy to get around with a rental car and finding parking wasn't too bad. We did have a small issue where the cleaners hadn't come before we got there, but Aaron responded right away (at 12:30 in the morning - we got in late) and let us know where to find what we needed, sent the cleaners first thing the next morning, and waived our cleaning fee. I was really impressed with his responsiveness and would definitely stay here again!

The home was very clean and had everything we needed. Walking distance to great restaurants and both beach and bay. Communication was also great!
