Family Luxurious Waterfront Escape

Our first “Cousin’s Retreat” was a hit!! We had a party of seven and it was still accommodated us. The house is BEAUTIFUL!! I loved that the elevator in the home is ADA Compliant. It also helped with bringing luggage and groceries upstairs. I can’t forget about the best host I’ve ever dealt with- Aaron. He was absolutely amazing!! Always clear on any questions I had, and answered almost immediately to texts. If you’re looking for a place to relax with your family, couples’ trip, or girls’ trip look no further, this is your place!

The location was beautiful. It is in a very busy public area and there were always many people right outside the house. The house is great, and the host was very easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay there again.

Denice, the beauty of this home is the accessibility to the bay and the adjacent boardwalk, which I assume is the reference to the "people right outside the house." While they are adjacent they are separate from the property by private and enclosed patio, and grass and trees. So glad you enjoyed it and want to return. Executive retreat for 6 people and everything was 5 star great! The location is perfect with plenty of restaurants within walking distance or short ride-share. Perfect bay location with amazing views off the 2 patios. There's a boardwalk right in front of the house perfect for walks/runs. The house is well equipped with 2 very large kitchens, very comfortable and spacious bedrooms (TV in each bedroom). Booking and communication was easy and prompt with Aaron. The team is looking forward to another retreat in the future!

Excellent location, beautiful views, clean and properly working amenities. It’s hard to write a review for a dream vacation spot because I’d just be listing how perfect everything turned out. Staying at this place was surreal in a great way. Felt like temporarily living in a palace. Neat location. We really enjoyed spending time on the upstairs balcony and people-watching. One night, there was a parade of bicyclists decked out in neon lights playing music as they passed by. The line of them went on for at least a half mile and you could see them around the whole bay from where we were perched at the house. They invited people to join as they moved along. San Diego is wonderful like this, I've learned.

This is a beautiful house and area is great. There were a few things that need attention. Neither of the 2 sets of ovens worked (which was a bummer because we brought in a chef for an evening and couldn't make it work There are a few exposed electrical outlets and wiring in random places that need to be done by a contractor. The master bath would not hold water & electronics do not work for the whirltub. Master shower had 5 different water sources which looked really cool, however the main rain head didn't actually have much water flow & ALL of the handles are falling off. The house was clearly remodeled and has been cut up oddly with several rooms added where there weren't rooms before & it is pretty obvious. One of of the main rooms has a clear glass door that everyone can see into the room through. These are all issues that were not a huge deal, however, when you are spending $18,000 on a rental you do expect the luxury house to be every bit of the luxury you are paying for

A++! The setting was beautiful and the house was luxurious. The beds and bedding were fabulous and I loved the steam shower. Many spots inside and outside to enjoy the water views. It was vacation made easy with Aaron! Any questions and he responded immediately. I hope to be in San Diego often and I will most definitely trust Aaron to set me up next time as well!

This place restored my faith in Airbnb. The architecture and setup of the house are fantastic and thought-through. I love the beach at the Bay; it is much more convenient and safer for kids. I also found Pacific Beach one of the most phenomenal places in CA, with many shops (Ralphs, Trader Joe's, etc.) and beaches nearby! Very little to no Homelessness in the area. Smiling and greeting cops. This is what the American dream is. People enjoying life and doing healthy activities with booming local small shops. I really hope international guests dont end up in a Santa Monica hotel or downtown of most of our major cities! Try Pacific Beach/Mission Bay San Diego! Parks, Temples, and activities nearby! Of course, if you want waves clashing at your window and hearing no human try PCH 1 No Cal. For a SOCAL beach life experience and urban life, this place is fantastic. You can see the SeaWorlda fire work when played every weekend during off season.

Location was AMAZING. There’s nothing like waking up to the beach and having a cup of coffee on the balcony right in front of the sand every morning. It was very close to everything we wanted to eat, do and see. It was wonderful to have all of our family stay in one house for vacation. Overall it feels a little dated and needs some attention but the overall experience ans location was incredible.

This is a beautiful home! Its tucked back in a cul-de-sac so it feels quiet and there’s street parking if you have more than the two cars that fit in the driveway. There are two kitchen areas, two outdoor patios overlooking the water, and two large areas for everyone to socialize. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and there was a washer/dryer if needed. There’s a walk/run/bike path along the beach just steps outside the door. But it feels private from the upstairs balcony and anywhere inside. Aaron is an incredibly responsive and gracious host. He was flexible with our travel plans and checked in with us via the app a few times to make sure we had everything we needed. We plan to stay here again next time we are in SD!

Aaron is a 5 star host for sure: he was super quick to respond and very accommodating to requests I had during the stay (extra pack n play, key to the patio gate so I could lock it for my kids safety, etc). He even gave my great recommendations in advance for in-home masseuses, catering, private boat, etc. really helped make the trip special. The house was everything we expected and wanted and more. Super clean, comfortable, perfect location, and great for a large group! We’ll definitely stay again! Thank you Aaron!

Perfect location for exploring Pacific Beach. Lots of restaurants/bars with walking distance. Miles of walking on the beach path, either on the bay or the beach front. House was super clean and the 2 full kitchens were nicely stocked. The beach can invite lots of different types of people, so be sure to lock up you personal items/vehicles overnight. My family of 12 enjoyed a great week’s stay right on the bay mid June. It was as advertised with six bedrooms. A few appliances did not work, but since there were two kitchens we were able to make do nicely. It felt like we were in the center of major attractions, next to both the bay and beach, and within walking distance of restaurants. It did not feel overcrowded. Overall a great experience.

The house is very nice, the two kitchens are beautiful and well stocked. The location was perfect for our family. We would have liked to have been informed prior to check in that the garage was off limits, giving no area to safely store bikes, surfboards, etc.. Also we would have appreciated a heads up on thefts in the area. We had triple locked bicycles stolen the first night we were there.

Perfect for family reunions, this 6 bed/bath home with extensive outdoor kitchen is great for relaxing outdoors with family and friends. Well equipped and maintained home with 3 fully stocked kitchens and 2 large terraces perfect for enjoying sunrises, sunsets, and moonrise’s. Location was central (15-20 mins) to all major sites (Coronado to La Jolla, and everything in between).

We loved being so close to the ocean, plus no waives for our smaller grandchildren, they were able to be in the water and close to the house. The outside area is perfect for bbq’ing and eating. Our group consisted of two families and we loved this place! There was plenty of room, including two separate kitchens. There were 3 bedrooms upstairs and 3 downstairs. We practically had our own private beach just outside and we really enjoyed the stand up paddle boards provided. There were also boogie boards that we took over to the beach side. Communication was excellent, I would highly recommend!

You can't beat the location on the water in Mission Bay.... very private with palm trees that line the property. The house is great for large groups with a full sized kitchen both downstairs and upstairs. Aaron was very responsive, accommodating and easy to work with.

There is nothing like the view from the upstairs balcony. We enjoyed barbecuing and just relaxing just 10 steps to the sand. Everything is available. Just like home away from home. I loved having a whole living space upstairs with the kitchen and one downstairs with a kitchen and outdoor kitchen this gave a lot of privacy to the younger adults downstairs and the older adults upstairs. We love using the paddle boards and beach chairs available for guest. Upstairs were three bedrooms two kings with en-suite bathrooms and one queen with the bathroom across the hall which was fine. Downstairs is three bedrooms one with a daybed and two rooms with queen beds and en-suite bathrooms. The management was well available, very professional and friendly. I will definitely be back. Thank you for a well needed family gathering.

This is an amazing property located directly on Mission Bay beach front. Both the upstairs and first floor patios are very large and open, constant sunshine. Big kitchens make it easy to cook for large family. Bedrooms were large and easy access to bathrooms galore. The local area includes restaurants and activity rental locations. If you are into walking or bike riding the trail is right outside your door. Highly recommend.

First time in the bay side after 10 years on the boardwalk. Spectacular home. Beyond spacious with a fully stocked kitchen huge gathering areas and every appointment you could need. Far superior to any property we have stayed at previously

Perfect location, great for family with kids. All the beach equipment was there. Host was responsive whenever we needed something. Fireworks every night from sea world during the month of July. I couldn’t decide if I liked the palms in front since it did obstruct the view but it made for privacy. I would recommend this house.

Family of 2 seniors, 5 adults, 2 kids and a toddler. We bought a baby gate for the stairs and then the space was perfect. We had fun putting scarves on the statues and giving them new fashion each day. The kids loved playing in the water and beach. The house is literally ON the beach with a beautiful promenade in front. We spent a lot of time on the large balcony. Gorgeous! It had enough bedrooms for our needs, which was hard to find. Communication was perfect with the host team. They mailed us all the items that we forgot, THANK YOU! The only downside was the lack of a few kitchen items, which we bought. Cutting board, kitchen towels (which we later found clean in a laundry basket), cheese grater, etc. We like to cook so these things were necessary. Also the grill downstairs needs new burners, but we made it work. Overall, we rate this house 5-STAR!

This was a fantastic property. It’s a fantastic location right on the beach. The house was very clean & well kept with plenty of room for group. Host were very responsive to the couple of questions we had. We’ll definitely be staying again.

Our family of 12, ranging from mid-70s to a 3-year-old, had a wonderful stay. The location was perfect, with access to the beach and easy walking distance to restaurants and entertainment. We really appreciated the large gathering areas so our entire group could be together. We highly recommend this property.

I hadn’t been to San Diego in a very long time and wasn’t familiar with the area, but it couldn’t have been a better location! We loved the proximity to the Bay! It was so easy to watch the kids in the sand, and just a short walk to the beach and the waves. Would definitely rent again!

11 of us got together from several locations - St. Louis to Oakland, North Carolina to Sacramento and 3 months to 86 years. Very enjoyable. Cooked big family meals nightly, enjoyed the direct access to mission bay beach, long walks, spending days in the surf on the short walk to Pacific Beach.

A bunch of us travelled down for a long weekend to explore San Diego. As adults, we really wanted to have our own rooms and a nice place to relax in the mornings and evenings. This house fit the bill perfectly. It is a great location on the water provided wonderful views. Conveniently located with a short walk to Mission Beach and a short drive to downtown and most south county locations. The kitchen(s) is well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, dishes, etc.. The beds were comfortable and there were many bathrooms. We had a small issue at checkin but it was very quickly resolved by the property manager and owner. We will definitely look at this property again for our next trip. Thanks!

Perfect location, beautiful views, with lots of common space for our extended family (six couples) to visit and share meals. While there were a number of technical issues, response was quick and repairs made promptly. Only the intermittent hot water in the showers was not solvable, as it probably needs a longterm fix. Still we had a fabulous reunion at this beautiful home.

The location of the house is terrific if you enjoy the quieter Bayside, just as easy to get around as all the other mission beach properties- this one is a dream. Big families or groups will appreciate the space; large kitchens; and outdoor patio spaces… bayside was the best side for us…

Great location on north end of Mission Bay with quiet water and beach right out the door. A beautiful house with very comfortable beds. We had plenty of space for 12 family members. 2 very complete kitchens and large outdoor kitchen with counter and stools. Water toys for grown-ups and kids. Some extra supervision needed for toddlers (we had 2) due to stairs inside, several entrances, busy beach walk and beach very nearby.

I have to say Aaron and his team did an excellent job with providing me with info and ensuing the check-in process was as seamless as possible. The house was BEAUTIFUL and being on the bay watching the sunrise and sunset was more than we can ask for. Walking distance to the local restaurants and bars and there was always something to do. My family was very happy. I often travel throughout the country and use Vrbo and haven't found a better host than Aaron. Kudos to you and team and thank you for providing us with an awesome stay!

This house is truly amazing. We had a large group (11), ages ranging between 1 and 67, and it all worked well. The location is perfect for kids, it's a 20 ft walk to the beach. Some minor issues occurred during the week, but those were resolved by the manager and the owner quickly. We're definitely coming back!

How can you go wrong with this home right on the bay. Literally you have the gorgeous home, boardwalk to walk and run. The sand is right there. We used a company who made a fire and s'mores for us every night. The house does not come with a lot of kitchen goods or bbq stuff so make sure you do bring your own pans, pots, and kitchen stuff that makes it essential to cooking. We felt really safe, we walked to Mission Beach and Pacific Beach. The fireworks can be viewed from the property every evening from Sea world. We plan to make this our annual home to visit with family. One thing we wish they did have because the view is so perfect is a hot tub outside. They did provide some chairs most were broken and paddle boards were perfect. Definitely 5 star experience here. Thank you for letting us into your home.

This is an ideal property for a family beach vacation. It's right on the bay. You step out of the house and walk onto a terrific sandy beach where the water is calm--perfect for children and paddleboards. It's an easy talk to the waves of the Pacific for those who like more action. the house is spacious and full of light. Management was extremely quick to respond to questions.

We enjoyed a family reunion at this well maintained, well equipped lovely property. We were a family of all ages, toddler/preschoolers, parents, grandparents, great grandparent. Management/owner were excellent to work with, location couldn't have been better. The bay was great for all ages, SUPs and boogie boards at the house and a nearby park, easy walk to the pacific. We had another rental in the area as well that made for an easy walk between the two. Wonderful week! We'd return in a heartbeat!
