Incredible location steps to beach bay

Great location, steps away from the beach, restaurants and bars. Was perfect for our group. Communication, check in were all great and very easy. Would definitely book again!

The beach house was very comfortable. The location was perfect- close enough to the beach ( 3 houses away) but far enough from the main walkway to have a little privacy & quiet. The garage was an added bonus so that we never had to worry about parking. We also appreciated the beach chairs, umbrellas & sand toys! Ciara was very easy & quick to communicate with us. We would definitely book this house again!

We had a wonderful stay at this beach house! The home was spotless from top to bottom and felt very welcoming. Host was very responsive! The views were absolutely beautiful — perfect for enjoying morning coffee or evening sunsets. The location couldn’t be better, close to restaurants, shops, and plenty of activities, while still feeling peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

the house was such an amazing home, super comfy, had a lot of space, so relaxing especially being so close to the beach. My family and I had an amazing time at this home for the weekend. Especially amazing to do a little cook out with family. I enjoyed my stay for the weekend here. I look forward to booking again with this host. Host was also amazing. Any questions I had they were quick to reply, host was super friendly and nice. Did not have an issues while booking for the weekend.

This house is a good size for a family of five. It really is just steps from the beach. Parking is super easy. It's close to restaurants -- not the best San Diego has to offer, but good enough. House comes with beach chairs, umbrellas, towels. Most of the beds were comfortable (the one off the kitchen had a dip in the center). Kitchen has everything we needed. Lots of stairs to consider -- two of the bedrooms are on the 3rd floor. Our only real disappointment was the very early check out. Considering how pricey the house is, being required to get everyone up and out by 10 am felt unfair, especially since check in had been 3 pm).

Sabra, so glad you enjoyed the home. Please be aware that our check in and out times are industry standard (there is just no way to clean and prep the home for a guest in less than 5 hours). We always offer late check out (when we do not have an incoming guest. One recommendation I can make is try not to depart on a Friday (which you did) since weekends always get booked. My family has stayed here for 4 years in a row. It's a great location near the beach. The house accommodates us well and the kids always enjoy the toys provided. The house is a little older with some wear and tear but we still love it.

Nos encantó el lugar, la cercanía tanto del mar como de la bahía, las camas cómodas, suficientes almohadas y sábanas en muy buen estado, sólo recomendaría le dieran un buen mantenimiento, había mucho polvo en las mosquiteros , las toallas no olían a limpio, las toallas para la playa muy viejas y delgadas, una de terrazas la funda de su sillón rota y con heces de ave y un murciélago que se hospedaba ahí, en los baños no funcionaban unos focos. Solo mantenimiento en General de lo demás todo súper bien. Ciara muy amable nos dejó salir una hora más tarde de lo que dice el contrato, ya que nuestro vuelo saldría más tarde !

The Airbnb was a very beautiful set up! And only a 10 yard walk from the beach! The host was very accommodating and replied to any questions within the hour! Would definitely come back again!

Great Central place in San Diego! Close to Mission Beach. Would love to come back in the summer time! Very well located to get anywhere in San Diego! It fit 8 people snuggly ! Ciara was a great host with great recommendations. The Garage Parking was key due to difficult parking options in the dense area of Mission Beach! So much good food in San Diego! Fantastic location and overall easy to enjoy. Outdoor space is great and enjoyed the beach chairs, beach towels, cruiser bikes, etc. The inside is very clean but the bathrooms & furniture are a little tired. Nevertheless, our family had no complaints and we had a great week. We were happy to find this home.

We enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for our family which included a 7 month old baby. It was in a perfect spot near beach and bay. Enjoyed seeing the ocean during the day and hearing it at night! Fabulous location! Stayed with my two adult daughters and two year old granddaughter. Although we didn't do any real cooking, we did find that the kitchen was very well stocked with anything needed if guests did want to cook. We went to beach daily and were grateful for the many beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas and beach toys provided. Also loved the spacious garage because parking streetwise would have been a challenge in that neighborhood! Plus there was a full sized washer and dryer (plus soap) available for our use. Also each shower had supplies like shampoo, conditioner and body wash for our use. There is no A/C but the temps cooled enough as the day progressed that it was not an issue. Also there were several ceiling fans as well as portable fans. The only suggestion I would make to the owners is to put new screens on the doors and/or windows that have some holes, etc., as we had a minor issue with some flies, etc., and assume there were coming in thru some of the screen tears, etc. But I would definitely stay here again if I was planning a trip to this area. Such a short walk to Mission Beach ... it was a wonderful place to stay!

Location was fantastic, there was a beautiful view of the ocean, which was spectacular at sunset. The house could do with some upgrading. Some of the mesh screens on the windows were broken and we were inundated with flys. The lack of air conditioning was a huge issue for us, there was plenty of fans but very hard to cool the house down, especially the upstairs rooms. The outdoor area was really lovely to sit at for dinner or drinks and there was plenty of beach towels, chairs and other beach equipment which was very handy to have.

The host was extremely responsive and the location is amazing. Views of the ocean from the deck and this boardwalk area was very cool with lots of people, restaurants, bars and fun things to do. The house has beach chairs, umbrellas etc and a well stocked kitchen. The house has bikes so we were able to use those to get around but there is SO much walkable from this location. The grocery store is close too. Loved it.

First and foremost the location was great and the property manager was responsive. However, this unit is in desperate need of a deep clean and some repairs. The walls, baseboards, banisters were filthy. When we first arrived the bathroom floors still had hair from previous guests and stuff smeared on the shower tile- They immediately sent out their cleaner but we were gone while she was there and she still missed a lot. I ended up cleaning a lot of it myself. Some of the screen doors are broken or ripped which makes it hard to keep them open to keep the unit cool because you end up with flies. Other than that the unit was well stocked and everything you could need for the beach which was great. Having parking was a plus. Garage is small and would be hard to fit more than one car unless they are compact. Stairs have holes between them and there is a window that is level with the floor on the upstairs level so I wouldn't recommend this unit to someone with toddlers or young children.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay in San Diego. As advertised, the location is unbeatable - one block from the Mission Beach boardwalk. Being close to Pacific Brach, with its many restaurants, was also a plus for us. And we even managed to take a beautiful long walk to La Jolla. The house was well equipped and worked well. Everything was as advertised, including the spacious garage. The property manager was very responsive to any questions we had (which weren’t many since everything was explained well in the welcome notes to us). I hope we can stay in this magical place again.
