Place was ok. Kitchen was good. Living room was comfortable and the TV worked well. Nice touches for coffee. Aaron was proactive and responsive. The place really needs a face lift to make it four stars. Bathtub shower faucet leaked, rusty bathtub, broken shutters. Thin walls to next door unit. Other tenants were having normal conversations, but they could be heard in the living room. Neighbor’s spot light in the back porch was too bright in the bedroom and no black out blinds. It is ok to crash for one or two nights, but too expensive for the value.

The house was nice and clean and the neighborhood is pretty and nice. Felt safe to walk around at night. We were thinking about ubering to the clubs and bars but it was closed by. The house was very welcoming and comfortable. The backyard has a lot of room for my dog to play around. Def love my stay even for a short weekend. Host was very friendly. Thank you.

Amazing location and great backyard! This area is so walkable and I felt very safe. The property does need some TLC (the A/C in the kitchen/dining room area had water leak, the last day, we noticed ants in the kitchen and bathroom, and the blinds in the living room have a few areas that are broken.) Aaron was responsive about how to turn the bistro lights on outside, however the switch to turn them on was nowhere to be found for the one bedroom listing here. The place was clean when we came in, had everything you could need if you were cooking, the bedroom was well set up, there is laundry for anything you would need to clean, and Aaron was so prompt and helpful. The backyard is private and enclosed with furniture for enjoying the fresh air. The A/Cs were quiet and effective, and the house was very well put together! The driveway is a bit tight but there is ample street parking. Overall, this place was great for us and we would stay again!

Peaceful and safe neighborhood. The place was beautiful and only a few blocks away from Balboa park. A great central location. Exactly what we needed! You could hear the Nextdoor neighbors walking around sometimes, but no more noise than you’d get from a hotel. And the street itself was very quiet. Aaron was also very responsive and helpful. Would stay here again!

The location of this property can’t be beat! A VERY quick drive or Uber ride to so many local attractions. It’s in a historic neighborhood, and there are many refurbished homes in the area. It’s enjoyable to walk around and see all of the beautiful properties. We were so pleased with the simple check-in process. There were guests in the other side of the duplex, and they were great. Very quiet and always pleasant when we saw them outside.

Fantastic location!! Within 20min of everything, with no traffic or airport noise. Place was very clean, bath could use an update, kitchen is brand new and well equipped. Great yard for dogs and kids, across the street from Balboa Park and the zoo. Some great bars and restaurants within walking distance, along with the Thursday night North Park Farmers Market. I had a bit of a problem with connectivity, but Aaron and his team were extremely responsive and helpful. I was there 10 days and I'll check on its availability next trip to San Diego

Such a cute spot! We came for a little staycation and everything was perfect. The space was open and very clean. It’s in a very walkable area especially if you’re visiting Balboa Park or the zoo and it’s a short drive from Hillcrest and North Park for food, shopping and nightlife. It’s close enough to the hustle and bustle while still being on a peaceful and quiet street. Checking in and out was super easy and Aaron was responsive and friendly. Very easy street parking especially at night. I didn't even need to use the garage. New appliances and a reasonable selection of ingredients if you want to do your own cooking. Split-system heating and a/c units work very well and are available in bedroom, kitchen, and living room. I'd probably even live here if it was for sale or rent.

The location is exceptional. The neighborhood is safe and easy to get around. All the attractions at Balboa Park are very close. We used public transportation to get around without any problem. Grocery stores are about a mile away (Whole Foods, Trader Joe's and Sprouts). Although we did not drive, there was garage parking on the property (and a washer and dryer in the garage). We would stay here again. San Diego is a wonderful place to visit.

Logement parfait pour une de la longue durée: c'est spacieux, agréable et la cuisine a tout ce qu'il faut (presse purée, mixeur, cuiseur à riz etc). Aucun soucis de voisinage! Le quartier est sympa, en marchant 10 minutes on arrive sur les bars et restaus de Cresthill ou sur les attractions du Balboa park.

We loved this location for our family vacation to Balboa Park. Aaron and team were fantatistic at communicating prior to our arrival and provided information on baby rental items and grocery delivery. It's a very walkable location and close to public transit. The apartment was great! Everything was cleaned, the kitchen was well equipped. The bed was so comfortable and cozy. The location was also perfect for us with a lot of restaurants nearby. Just the parking garage and driveway was to small to drive into in our opinion, but you could easily park on the street. We did notice a few ants inside the apartment at the entrance door, but the owner told us not worry about it because it’s normal over here in San Diego. We‘re happy and would definitely stay here again!

As a local San Diegan needing to find a place to stay temporary in such a short period of time: this was it. Those coming to visit San Diego, I highly recommend this place! You’d be literally right by the San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park, both great places to visit while staying here. You’d also be 5 mins away from Downtown. The location is just simply PRIME! You wouldn’t think you were staying in the City. Thats how peaceful it is. The listing is exactly as described. Felt like home! And Aaron was super responsive and helpful. This place was PERFECT for my grandson and me, in EVERY WAY. centrally located to everything and easy to get back "home." We parked on the street right in front of the place, every time. The apartment was comfortable, clean, well stocked and welcoming. We walked to the zoo in just 12 minutes! We had a 3-day CityGo pass which allowed is to visit many places in SanDiego, and maps helped return us in a matter of minutes. Aaron sent multiple messages welcoming, offering help if needed and a thanks on departure. We had a wonderful stay! We recommend Aaron's place!

We had a wonderful stay enjoying walking to the zoo as well as being only a few minutes from some great restaurants. We loved Mabel’s Gone Fishing and Trust and would recommend them highly. Tribute Pizza was also great if you’re looking for a more kid friendly dinner. Short walk to the Hillcrest farmers market for lunch or to grab fruit and snacks for your stay. Bed was comfortable and the kitchen and front room very relaxing. We will be back next time we come to the west coast. The team were very quick to respond with any questions and we were able to extend our stay one night when family plans in Oceanside got changed.

Loved the space. Was nice that it also had private parking. I wasn’t aware that we would be sharing a wall with the other unit. Neighbors were a little noisy but the renters allowed us to message if they were too noisy. Clean space, fully equipped kitchen, spacious, easy access, and best of all, it is walking distance from the San Diego zoo. Would definitely stay here again.

Loved the location of this place. I am always wondering if the place I pick is in a good neighborhood and this was! It was les than a 10 minute walk to the zoo, so easy to get to and we walked to where the restaurants were at as well. Loved the setup of the place and the backyard was nice to sit and relax. The location was perfect to go to Coronado Island and back and not feel so far away. Would definitely go back!

My husband and I loved staying at Aaron's place! The house was clean and everything was as listed in the photos. We especially loved having a dedicated parking space not on the street. We were able to walk to the zoo and enjoyed walking to Balboa park. Aaron was extremely easy to communicate with and quick to respond to any requests we had. I would definitely recommend and would stay again

We felt right at home! The space is nicely decorated and well laid out. The amenities were awesome and the place lived up to and exceed all of our expectations. Will definitely stay here again!

Excellent place to stay if you’re heading to San Diego. Close to naval hospital and San Diego zoo plus an easy drive to down town, Coronado, and La Jolla. Well worth the price and the perfect place if you have an extended stay and want a place that feels like home. Highly recommend this stay.

Loved the rental. Our fur baby loved it as well! Large backyard. Everything looked like the pictures. Felt right at home. The surrounding neighborhood was great for morning walks with our dog. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Close proximity to great restaurants.

Great location and super accessible to everything in San Diego proper. The space was perfect for the two of us and our dog. And I loved the split heater system. Kept the place nice and cozy during a cold weekend.

In terms of location, you can’t get much better. Being able to walk to the zoo and easily drive to other San Diego hotspots was great. Home was very cozy and cute. Only downsides were that we could hear the neighbors sharing the duplex with us and the bed wasn’t the most comfortable. We still really enjoyed our stay.

Aaron’s place is lovely. The living room is clean and spacious. Kitchen and bar area are great place to hang out with family and friends. It is fully furnished and equipped with all necessities. We had a great time here. Moreover, the location is super cool. A couple of minutes to walk to San Diego zoo and Balboa park. Easy drive to North Park for trendy restaurants and coffee shops. We absolutely love this place.

Overall, place is great, location is great. Comfy bed, good sheets, well stocked kitchen, clean grounds, nice outdoor space, solid price. Bathroom shower window, frame, and sill were disgusting. Significant mold. I get it, no exhaust fans in SD, but it's obviously being ignored. 2 knobs on the gas range were broken. Stove top was 'on' upon checkin and was a real pain to fully turn off. The front blinds desperately need to be replaced. Long term renters next door had their dog off leash the entire stay and must have different parking instructions. They blocked the driveway and acted put out when I asked them to move up the one day of Zoo traffic and no other parking option nearby. Did I complain: NO, not worth it. Would I stay here again: YES. Is the unit due for an owner walk thru: YES

This property was very clean and nice. Neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. The bathroom window was a little creepy, but all in all the property was very nice and clean and I am extremely particular about where I stay. Communication with property owners/management was easy and they were very responsive. Book this place, you will not be disappointed.
