Great place. Close to the beach and close to everything we wanted to do. Beach toys chairs and umbrellas were a great added bonus. Enough room for a family of four. Would recommend to anyone!

Loved the location, so easy to get to the beach or bay. Only negative, no view from any windows, pretty much blocked in looking at other buildings. It is ok though, just walk to beach or bay and soak in all the views!

This was our first time to Mission Beach and boy did we love it. The apartment was exactly as described. It was very quiet and within walking distance to everything. It was beautifully decorated and very comfortable for our group of 4. The only downfall and it’s not the hosts fault is parking. We had a pickup truck and getting thru the tight alleys and trying to find parking was a mess. Visiting during the summer like we did it was very busy so we ended up having to park 2 miles down the road in a large overnight parking lot. Other than that, it was an excellent stay!

Great location at a beautifully designed apartment. It’s a well used place, that felt like a rental. That said it gave us access to so much in the area. A bit expensive for the space, but overall had a very enjoyable stay.

This lovely apartment is located in the heart of Mission Bay. Just steps away from the beautiful Mission Beach, it was so convenient (especially with two small children) to walk to the beach and back home. The apartment is extremely clean, neat, and has all of the amenities you could need. We were especially grateful for all of the kitchen supplies as we did a lot of cooking. The location is also excellent for those wishing to see more of San Diego. We never drove more than 20 minutes to see some of the great museums and neighborhoods in downtown. Aaron was also a very responsive host and we appreciated that. Would highly recommend!

Nice two bedroom 2nd floor condo. Location is the excellent for Mission Bay and beach. Active communication from owner. Street parking and packing/unpacking might be tricky on busy summer days. Though wasn’t an issue for our winter stay.

Great 2 bedroom unit, located upstairs. All amenities were as listed. Parking is slightly challenging as Mission Beach has mostly alleyways but a very short walk to parking options. Dining options close by with excellent bakery, cafe and restaurants. Just a short stroll to beach or bay.

This is a 4 unit complex, we stayed in unit 1, which is two bed 1 bath (shower only, no tub). The description says luxury but I would call this a nicely appointed beach/country cottage. There is AC unit in the main area but not the bedrooms, but if you leave the doors to the bedrooms open it is good enough to cool things down. There are cieling fans in all rooms. A key thing to note is there is no car parking for any of the units. Laundry and beach accessories are available in the shared shed area. The outdoor space is a bit confusing but it's available for all units I think. The unit was very clean upon arrival and the appointments are nice but it's clear that this is a heavily used rental as there are stains on the furniture and wear and tear throughout. The trash cans were a major fly magnet and the fly traps where disgusting to walk by given the unpleasant smell however this is a common problem in mission Beach. The beds are very comfortable and linens very clean. There are plenty towels for a 5 day stay but then you would have to pay to wash them in the onsite laundry; seems strange to expect guest to pay to wash the airbnb towels. Overall this is a good place and clean place.to stay but there a much nicer places for $50-$100 more a night.

Aaron and VR were great hosts had great communication check in and out super easy and convenient. Amenities are fantastic no need to pack big beach towels and chairs unless you a large family. Location is fantastic beach 30 seconds away the bay is less and the walk to the pier isn’t too bad and the walk to Belmont was nothing plus you can rent bikes rt on the corner to get around so all in all prolly one of the best gems in mission. Parking does suck but it’s beachside so should be expected. One of the best Airbnb’s we have ever stayed at.

Hi, the pictures are true to the unit. The unit is close to the beach.The unit is very clean and cozy. The unit can get a little warm during the day, but you will sleep cool and comfortable. The unit does not provide parking, and parking can be a challenge. The unit may be hard to find upon arrival, but after finding the unit you are in a great place.

Place was great. Really good location. Host was responsive. It is somewhat barebones, but that’s all we needed with the beach and bay so close. I stayed with one friend. I could see it being cramped if you are trying to do a family or multiple adults (bedrooms are small), but it was great for us. We had everything we needed, and the place was reasonably priced compared to anything else that close to the beach.

Amazing stay, clean and well equiped apartment for acomodating our family. Ice cold A/C and quiet neigborhood, a few blocks from the beach! Aaron was so helpful the whole time, giving us directions, great support and quick response to our needs. The beach supplies for kids, umbrella and tommy bahama chairs were incredible. Pros: Wonderful location! - so easy to walk to the beach, bay, restaurants, etc. Beach supplies! - it was nice not to worry about chairs, towels, umbrella, etc. Comfy bed- very comfortable bed and pillows. Kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed there. Cons: Parking- that was honestly really stressful and I don’t know if it’s that clear and obvious in the listing. I should’ve read reviews because we had to move the car constantly and we were scared to go anywhere because of how challenging it was to find a parking spot. I guess I assumed we’d have ONE space. Toilet Paper- we ran out of toilet paper on the last day. It was kind of annoying that we had like 2 extra rolls but for 4 nights and 5 people it was not enough. It would’ve been nice if there had been extra in the laundry room Paid laundry- we were not about to pay for laundry. I also don’t feel like that’s clear in the listing Lastly— the couch in the image is not the one that we had in our place. The one in our air b n b was dirty and saggy and leaked feathers. The chair was stained and the rug around it was stained as well. It was just a little more run down than it looked in the picture.

Glad you enjoyed the unit and the beach amenities we provide for what it is great for...namely coming to town and hanging out at the beach for a few days (most guests either uber from the airport or park their car where they can leave it and just walk or ride scooters everywhere when at beach. Our ad specifically says that there is only street parking (and also indicates that there is coin operated laundry). This apartment is amazing! We stayed for 3 nights and had an absolute blast. You are right in the center of mission bay, literally steps from the water in the bay and a 5 minute walk to the ocean side. Tons of great restaurants within walking distance too. The kitchen is well stocked and it felt spacious enough for my husband, 3yo daughter, dad, and me to relax and sleep comfortably. Parking can be a bit tricky so give yourself a little time to figure that out. Aaron was very helpful and responsive to requests and questions. Would definitely stay here again!

The location of this place is perfect. We walked everywhere. The bay is one block away and we rented kayaks there. The ocean is two short blocks and there was yoga on the beach at 11:00 everyday. Olives Cafe for breakfast is great and only a couple of blocks away. There is also a small market, coffee shop, a couple of bars and a great taco place all within walking distance. We also cooked a lot and Aaron's place had everything we needed. Instacart delivered groceries to our door. Anything we needed, Aaron took care of. He is very responsive and really goes the extra mile for renters.

This place was clean, comfortable and in an excellent location—I was able to easily walk down and see the sun set every evening. The noise at night wasn't bad but the area does lean younger, so if you're looking for a quiet getaway you might want to look in a different neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location a block away from that bay and 2 blocks from beach. It is incredible. Very modern finishings in a vibrant neighborhood. You can sit on the front porch and watch the light come up against the bay. Perfect.

5 stars!! Beautiful apartment that looks even bigger than the pictures, everything is fresh and clean and tastefully decorated. Amazing location, the beach on one side and they bay on the other. Many yummy bakeries, coffee shops, and restaurants in walking distance. Aaron was reliable and quick to respond to questions and accommodate our needs. 10/10 recommend :)

We really enjoyed our stay! The location is amazing!! So close to the beach and bay and restaurants. We just ubered to and from the airport. There’s a little market and a cafe super close so really easy to get anything you might need. We used the beach chairs and boogie boards supplied by Aaron. Our girls rented wetsuits at a rental place just a block away. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend this rental!!

This place is in a great location--the quiet bay a block east and the ocean a block west. And close to an amazing bakery with life changing cinnamon rolls! The place is very stylish, too, and the beds are the most comfortable I've ever had in an AirBnb. The host was very responsive when we had an issue with the front door. Some things inside were in need of repair, and there is not a dedicated parking space, which is good to know if you have small children--expect to have a walk to and from the car every time you leave, and you've got to keep careful track of where all the "kid stuff" is so you're not stranded without a stroller. Overall a great place to stay!

We loved this location! The pad was very clean. The decor was stylish and not cluttered. The beds were comfy and so was the couch. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The location was perfect since we wanted both beach time and bayside time. Even a fabulous coffee shop was a quick walk away. Parking was even easier than expected. I would love to stay here again.

Great location; right near the bay and about 2 minute walk to the ocean. Clean and comfortable. The host provides pretty much all beach supplies you need (chairs, towels, toys, boogie boards). Parking can be stressful if you decide to try for the street or alley parking; depending on time of day spaces are very limited (even more so if you can’t parallel park). The parking lot at Ventura Cove worked great for us. It’s a 15-minute walk along the bay, and explicitly allows overnight free parking.

The weather was perfect for my stay and I enjoyed staying in this rental unit! ? The location can't be beat, just steps from the bay and a quick 5 minute walk across Mission Blvd. to the beach side. The unit is upstairs, and has a nice little deck at the front door. It was very clean, decorated nicely (not too sterile and not overdone). The beds and sofa/chairs in living space were very comfortable! The bathroom was clean and not too small. The kitchen was equipped with everything needed to make meals. Extra blankets and pillows were available and it had an iron and board. We didn't use any of the items mentioned located in the laundry room (bikes, chairs, toys, etc), so can't comment. This unit has a nice air conditioning unit in the living space and the bedrooms have ceiling fans. There is no dedicated parking space with this unit. It can be tricky to park momentarily to unload or load car. The back driveway is extremely narrow and some people get upset if it's blocked. I got lucky and was able to park at the Marina parking lot each night without issue, but I understand that overnight vehicles can get cited there. Street parking was virtually non-existent during my stay. Not sure of other options are available. I really liked this unit and would recommend it.

Gina, thank you for the through and honest review. As most of out guests just park their car (or merely arrive via Uber) the parking is usually a non-issue. Plenty of free street parking and even lots that are just a short distance from the unit. Plus most people just walk/ride scooters/bikes the duration of their stay since everything is close by! Great place to stay. Not too familiar with the area but appears that Pacific Beach is the party college area. First night was very loud with other renters nearby drinking and wilding out, had to play white noise at 2am to keep the screaming and partying noise drowned out. But otherwise the space is beautiful, convenient and super clean. Beds are comfortable, but they’re full set so a bit harsh for two. The air conditioner works great in keeping the whole unit cool and low humidity. The beach gear that you can borrow are also great. Would recommend this place if you’re looking for fun place with a lot of young people looking to have a good time. If you’re a bit of an old soul and want somewhere quiet, maybe look more north towards La Jolla or Mission Beach.

This place was GREAT!!!! The entire place is pretty packed with anything u may need!!! From a salad spinner to shampoo to sand toys for kids!! Really was amazing. The house is bigger then most in the area and its set up beautifully! Very clean. Very open. Very close to the water. The out door areas are beautiful. Very fast and nice responses to any questions. Would happily stay here again! My mother me and my children ages 4 to 68 loved it all. Note! The alley is small!!!! No parking. Parking is very close so its really not an issue but. Trucks and big vehicles will have a hard time even getting down the alley (this is how cali alley ways are. Can't help it ) we waited for some people to move and were able to fit and unload. Then parked maybe a block away. Just for the prompt and helpful owners and how clean it was the ease pick this place! You won't regret it

We stayed four nights in the Mission Beach location. The communication with the host was fantastic. The place was very easy to find, and very clean. Easy walk to beaches, small markets and very relaxed vibe. Directions to get to the space and access amenities were clear and easy to follow. Amenities were nice. A/C did not work well to the bedrooms so sleeping was very warm. It is also a noisy area. We didn’t mind that though. A fan might be nice. Beds are comfortable (we like very firm mattresses) but sheets were a bit scratchy. The amenities were awesome! Great to have beach chairs and towels and toys. Our unit seemed to be missing a beach chair and umbrella, which was ok. I let the host know and he was aware. We loved our time at the beach and this place is a perfect location! You will love the comfortable furniture and the well equipped kitchen. Thank you!!!

Aaron’s place is wonderfully situated between the bay and the beach, which are both a short walk in either direction. We loved the easy access! Also, there’s a bunch of great restaurants and activities nearby. We spent an entire day without needing to get in the car - great walkability and things to do/explore. One thing to note is that parking can be challenging. There’s a few free lots near the place to park overnight; you just have to be mindful of signage. We also used the parking at the women’s club one night. Once we figured out how/where to park, it was a breeze. The place is as cute in person as it was in the pictures. Overall, we had a great stay and would come back again.

Beyond what we had expected! This was our first time getting an Airbnb. Our objective was to relax and try to distress near the beach. I'm sure everyone being stuck at home with kids during quarantine, will agree that all we really needed was a quick getaway, almost anywhere would do.... fortunately enough we found this!!! Instantly we were receiving responses from the landlord. He was very helpful with instructions. It was four of us, two couples and we were all fairly new to the area so were in awed with all the scenery and how close we were to the water. We had almost no trouble finding the rental with the instructions that were given. We kept in mind that parking was going to be tough, so we tried keeping an eye open for nearby areas which was very rare they'd be available. We tried making our drop off as quick as possible since there was somewhat constant traffic through the alley. Once we accessed the courtyard through the alley door, you notice how private the courtyard feels, which is also very clean and equipped with a grill and and patio table that is shared between both units on back part of the property. We had rented the top unit, up the stairs to a small balcony with a French Iron Table (where you had a view of the lagoon) we opened up to a beautiful, cozy apartment. Everything was in view from the front door, it was an open floor plan layout. We wanted to enjoy the area, since we had noticed so many beautiful walkways. So we left our stuff and went to look for parking. Since it was Friday, fresh out of quarantine, it was somewhat tough and pricey to find a spot. Luckily we did, a few blocks down Mission Blvd. We did notice street sweeping does happen twice a week, but it wasn't a problem on the weekend. We walked back to the rental and couldn't get enough of the sound of the waves clashing, but the unit was closer to the lagoon side of Mission beach marina, so we walked the luscious green walkways that lead back to the lagoon and we turned up the boardwalk to enjoy the breeze. We arrived back to our rental and walked up to it from the front part of the property and noticed the other shared patio tables and grills on the property. Overall, many common areas throughout. We noticed the renters of the front units and were very nice as we walked into the property. We looked into the laundry/ storage room and notice all the extras that were available to us, such as beach chairs, boogie boards, kids sand toys and umbrella. Also a few grilling tools. Overall this place was beautiful and well located. We did notice a few bars within a 5 minute walk, some restaurants only a 15 minute walk down to the Ocean Front. Our Landlord was very friendly and helpful. He seemed to be nearby which is great if you have complications with anything. We had an amazin time there and made friends with the renters in the unit below... we all have kids and would love to come back out but to rent a bigger unit, I can only hope to find something just as great as this.
