Central Mission Beach location located ON the boardwalk. Clean and easy access to beach and restaurants. As with any beach location, just need to be reminded there is a lot of sand! Suggest packing indoor slippers or flip flops to wear in house and keep shoes at door.

Front door open towards the ocean. Watch ocean waves and sunset right at the patio or living room. Comfortable and relaxing. Parking can get a little tricky as the garage opens slanted but parked a minivan without difficulty (just need to have people watch the corners when you park). Parking is no fault of the host, that’s just how the house was built.

If you want a property right by the beach in San Diego, you cant go wrong with this one. Our family enjoyed sitting on the front porch facing the ocean and relaxing by the boardwalk. It was a peaceful, serene place and our family loved it. Thank you to the excellent host. We will consider renting here again next time.

This rental has an amazing view and is located at a great location! Restaurants and bars are all walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay at this rental. It can get stuffy and hot but there are fans available and opening the windows helped. We had some ants crawling in the kitchen area and in the bedroom with the bunk beds, but given the location we understand that’s bound to happen and it did not ruin our stay. We really enjoyed the view and easy access to the beach. This rental is fully equipped with all of the necessities and beach gear.

Absolutely loved staying here, the beach is right in front, has beautiful views, and the sunsets were stunning! It got a little stuffy without an AC but we made due, at night we couldn’t even tell it was perfect. I definitely recommend staying here, and hope to come back soon!

We had a great vacation and our stay at this house made it even more exciting. The area is a living place with lot of people walking and biking down the boardwalk. My daughter and niece really enjoy having the choice of the being one step away from the beach or just few steps away to the calmer bay waters where they paddle boarded and kayaked. The parking can be a little tight but if you rent the bottom unit, you can park your car in the garage. Our truck was too big, and the upstairs vacationers gladly traded with us. Aaron promptly set that up for us. There is no need to drive anywhere we brought our bikes along and rode to nearby restaurants and grocery stores. The views of the sunset with stunning and a memory we will not forget. The garage was well stocked with beach chairs, umbrellas, boogies boards, sand toys and more. Our bed was so comfortable and soft. I slept well every night. There is no air conditioning in the unit but it's the beach and the air cools down at night. :)

This is a fantastic spot right on the beach. There wasn't a lot of extra room for our family of 6, but with the outdoor seating and the beach right outside the front door, why stay inside? Aaron is also a great host - very responsive and flexible.

PRIME location! We couldn’t have been any happier! Waking up to waves while sitting on the patio was divine. Having the garage for your vehicle prevents any headache looking for parking along the beach! We couldn’t have been any happier, and now we have our “go to” spot any time we stay in San Diego. PS, Rosmarie’s is an absolute must if you are into burgers, and it doesn’t hurt that it is literally a 1 min walk away. Thank you making our stay seamless . We will be back!

Aaron’s beach house was stunningly beautiful and squeaky clean. The porch looks out over the beach and faces the spectacular sunset. We brought our family and our dog and felt welcomed. The house is very comfortable and located right on the beach, walking distance to restaurants and coffee shops. Very highly recommended.

Great stay right on the beach! Shared garage space with the upstairs neighbors for beach accessories but there was plenty to go around. Was nice to have a washer dryer to keep the provided beach towels clean/dry. Full kitchen.

Perfect location! Beautiful unobstructed view of the ocean w/ magnificent sunsets ?? “Cozy” for 5 but we were either on the beach or on the deck so not a problem. Kitchen was well stocked. Dishwasher(small) & laundry detergent supplied. Lots of beach chairs, boogie boards, toys (adult &kids). Could have used a few more bath towels (small) for 5 adults but not an issue as supplemented w/ beach towels (provided!) Gas grill is shared w/ 2nd upstairs rental. Could be a bit noisy at night but being right on the “strand” not unexpected. Of note, there is a 3ft wall you need to climb over to get on the beach so could be challenging for some. Aaron ALWAYS responded promptly to questions, was very kind and helpful. We had a great time and is def on our “short list” for next year!

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Ocean Front Lime downstairs unit. We were happy to have the garage parking space since parking in the area is limited and can be difficult to find on Mission Blvd. The unit is ocean front with a cute little patio area which we enjoyed sitting at on the days when the sun was out. We loved the short walk to Water Bar, Miss B's Coconut Club, Now Sushi and Olive Cafe. The space was super clean and organized, we had everything we needed for our stay. There was some slight humidity inside the unit but that is to be expected with the location so close to the ocean. The front door key pad lock was a bit tricky but we got the hang of it by the 2nd day. The managers of the unit were quick to respond to text messaging and checked in with us to make sure everything was okay. All in all it was a great say and we would stay there again as well as recommend to friends!

Location was amazing. Easy walk to stuff. Having beach chairs, boogie boards and umbrellas available was great. Walked right out to the beach and played in the ocean. Left the door open to hear the waves (and get some cool air) most days. Did hear the neighbors upstairs, sounded like a small kid jumping up and down and running around for multiple hours during the day, but it wasn't enough to ruin anything. Overall a quaint, rustic-ish place right on the boardwalk.

You cannot beat the location. We had a girls weekend at this place and it was one of the best weekends ever. The proximity to the beach and having a deck to sit at and people watch…literally for hours. There’s a table on the right side of the building and we used that to have brunch one of the days. We got a lot of jelly looks from people walking by. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. We didn’t stay inside much but it sleeps 6 people comfortably. Just an amazing stay due to the location.

Great location great place. Amazing view of sunsets and beach. Great communication with staff. All amenities to start your vacation. Make sure to ask about parking like usual beach has very minimal parking. Surrounded by restaurants, stores and bars but far enough to not hear the noice. Definitely will book again.

Fantastic location, 5 steps from the beach. Bike rentals, restaurants, and grocery store are within walking distance. Only a short drive to Balboa Park, whale watching tours, San Diego Zoo, and many other attractions. Owner was very responsive and we had everything we needed to have the perfect vacation, thanks Aaron!!

Great great views of amazing sunsets. This is a great location. Beach front property and not crowded with people. It was fully supplied with everything we needed and I had good communication with the property management. Will definitely stay there again.
