Our family with two little kids had a great experience. We loved to be able to walk to the beach and the to the bay within 10 minutes and enjoyed the location the most. We were able to get everywhere within 15- 20 carminutes. We would stay here again. Thank you so much

Nice little spot in a great location with lots of things within walking distance! Really convenient to have a parking space as well. While it was too cold for the beach while I was there, it’s nice that there are beach items available for guests.

Great location, close to PB, restaurants, grocery store, etc. It's a beach house - so humid and rusty here and there, but good price for the location, especially with two bedrooms. Only real recommendation would be to replace the window ac unit in the main room - it doesn't blow cold air anymore. And no ac unit in the 2nd bedroom. Not a gigantic deal since it's San Diego, but would be great if the ac worked and was available in all rooms.

The place was clean.. the complex was quiet. I would stay there again. My only recommendation was more mirrors… it was a girls weekend and we sure could have used a full length mirror somewhere ;)

Aaron's place was terrific! Walking distance from the beach, bars, restaurants, and everything else you can imagine. We were in San Diego during Hurricane Hillary and the place was great during the storm (not one leak!!). This place was cozy and had everything we needed including beach chairs, boogie boards, and AC :)). We will be back!

Great stay in PB! Photos are accurate though the unit is older (typical for the area). We had an issue with the AC blowing a fuse but no issues otherwise. Kitchen was well equipped! Host allowed us to store our bags past check out which was incredibly helpful. The host was also very responsive and made the process seamless

we stayed three nights. the beds were the most comfy I have stayed in. the place was centrally located to everything. Having an assigned parking spot was great since it's hard to find parking in PB. The place is older but well maintained and has everything you need. we didn't spend a lot of time in the room except in the evening. We would stay again.

This place is well located, being within walking distance to the beach, hosts are good in communication. It is visibly run down and begs for a renovation though. Broken blinds “permanently” repaired with scotch, beds squeaking at every move you make, rust in the bathroom. It is clean though, no question about that. It’s been five years in a row I rent a place close to the Pacific beach for the whole Thanksgiving week and I used to pay the same (just checked receipts from the previous years) for more modern and better maintained rentals in similar locations.

This place is amazing! This place has it all. We had a great stay at this Airbnb location. Vacation Rentals By Aaron certainly lived up to the reputation of a Super Host, being very accommodating and responsive. The amenities that came with the place were fantastic (including a bike storage spot), and it is nicely decorated and very comfortable. The location is on a major road, but it is set back and has a little courtyard so it feels a bit removed. There is traffic noise, but this did not bother us. We were very happy with our stay here near Pacific Beach!

Michelle, apologies about the power. I wished you had contacted us earlier in the trip about the issue and we would have troubleshot the issue. When my cleaners arrived we noticed that you had moved the AC unit. When you did that you placed both units on the same circuit which is why it was tripping. We also recommend only running one of them during the day since they are really mostly for sleeping comfort. Glad we were able to get you a replacement for the mattress within 2 hours of reporting the issue. Turns out the underlying slats had just slipped when you pulled out the trundle (happens once in a while) so we have added that note to our guest guide. Agreed that 5 adults can be tight in a 2BR 1 BA but most folks who visit use it as a fantastically located base of operations in the middle of Pacific and Mission Beaches and really only use it for light meal prep and sleeping.

Thank you for a wonderful stay, Aaron! The location was perfect. Aaron's house was very clean and had plenty of space for us. Aaron had excellent communication and was quick to get back to us. He was accommodating and helpful! We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic location! We normally try to stay in Mission Beach when we visit but we have always found that the food and drinks are better in PB. So much nicer to stay walking distance to all of our favorites (Isabel's Cantina, Crushed, Sushi Kuchi, Backyard Kitchen and Tap...and numerous others) which are less than a 5-10 min walk from this location. And the bikes in the garage were perfect for us to head just 4 blocks south and we were on the Bayside Walk and headed to wherever we wanted in Mission with little to no traffic. Uber's to downtown were about $10-15 from this location (we were there for a convention so the Uber was way less than parking downtown) and we had the garage to hold our car (and the space behind the garage for our family that visited from La Mesa). Interior is clean and nicely updated. 2 TV's, AC (which we did not need) and a fully stocked kitchen. We grilled and sat outside during the day and would love to come back in the summer to take advantage of the outdoor space for nights. Linens, towels, beach towels and chairs (even tried the surfboard that was provided...with mixed results). Aaron has pretty much stocked the unit with everything we could need. We already have plans to come back!

We were pleased with our stay at the apt. The location is good, just a couple blocks to the active area of Pacific Beach, or a 10 minute walk to the pier. We enjoyed using the bikes and surf board. We had two cars; one fit in the garage and the other was in front of it, so all was good in that respect. As the host and others have said, 6 people are a bit of a squeeze, especially with only one bathroom. That said, we managed and had a good time. The temperatures were a bit low at night (40s) when we were there over the New Yea and we needed to use the living room heater at night. Once going it kept the house comfortable, but it was necessary to keep all the bedroom doors open so the heat would reach all the rooms. There were plenty of bowls, plates and utensils for all of us, and some decent cookware as well. There are a lot of combinations to know/remember, and we had to ask for the correct laundry combo and bike combos. The host got back to us very quickly, usually withing 30 minutes, so it wasn't really a problem. I would recommend this for a reasonably-priced place for a family of up to 4 or 5.

Very nice Stay, at a good spot. (5 minutes to Venice beach, central) Maybe a bit to small for 4 persons over more then 2 nights, but the rest was perfect! Thanks a lot! :-)

Thanks for the short trip. I think you meant central Pacific Beach since venice is a couple hours north). With the queen bed, 2 twin-sized beds and a pull out sofa we are very happy to take up to 6 guests...but if you all want to sleep alone then it can get tight.
