Perfect location. Nicely updated home. Responsive hosts with clear directions given. It does have stairs to access the main door and more stairs for the bedrooms and bathrooms. The only negative was the beds were not particularly comfortable.

Average; not terrible, but bathrooms should be deep cleaned and possibly newer towels. Location really close to popular restaurants, but the more upscale ones definitely need reservations well in advance on the weekends. Quick replies to my messages.

We really loved this spot—it felt just like home! The location was perfect, super close to the airport, beaches, Old Town, and other attractions. The house itself was super clean, and my favorite part was definitely the balcony—so cozy! I loved sitting out there every night with my book, it was so relaxing. Having laundry on-site (with free soap!) was a big plus too. Overall, such an amazing stay and I’d 100% come back again!

The location is walkable to the trolley, with that being said after the sun goes down the freeway under passes are a bit wild. The place is nice and clean, a/c worked well, water temp and pressure good. The balcony is nice as well.

This was the second time we have stayed while visiting our marine. It’s within walking distance of gate 5 and there are plenty of places to eat and explore in Old Town. It’s an older home but has been updated and well maintained.

This unit was a good value for our stay in San Diego. It was well located with respect to proximity to things to do. Great restaurants in Old Town nearby. The Home and Away Bar down the street has great tacos and a good general vibe. Notice that the unit is close to the freeway however. So there is street noise if you leave the windows open. Having the garage was nice, but the entrance to the garage is a little tight. Overall, if I was looking for an economical way to spend a few days in San Diego needing two bathrooms, this unit isn't a bad choice.

We were in San Diego for a weekend trip and the place was perfect for 4 Adults. We did have some trouble using the checkin code provided, but the host was extremely quick to respond and resolve the issue. Not too far from most of the touristy locations and easily walkable to Old Town, in case you decided to. Even though the location is quite near to the airport, we didn't hear a sound inside the house. Overall a good place to stay for the weekend or a quick getaway trip!

Loved our stay! We felt at home away from home. The private entrance and garage parking was a bonus with added safety. There are stairs to travel leading to the front door. The train and airplane sounds were great. Kids will love! (It served as white noise for sleep for us). The views at night from the balcony were beautiful. Commuincation with the host is fast and are kind. Upon arriving, I noticed that the refrigerator was not cleaned very well or at all. There were yellow food stains that appeared to have leaked to the bottom underneath the drawers that may have been missed. I also found a used visable Terea cigarette behind the leg of the couch in the living room that my child could have easily picked up. There is construction happening next door so every morning sleep was interrupted. So not much sleep was had. Overall it was a great experience and I would love to stay again in the future and experience the nice shops and restaurants within walking distance.

My partner and I stayed here during a business trip, and the location was perfect—centrally situated, making it easy to get to all of San Diego. We appreciated the private entry stairwell, private garage, and the fact that the unit wasn’t on the ground level, which made us feel safe. The home was well-appointed with everything we needed to cook, clean, work, and do laundry. The host was responsive and accommodating, which made our stay even better. We would definitely recommend this home to others and thank them for having us.

The apartment matches its description - it has a nice little patio from which you can watch airplanes land and take off. It has the essentials one would need to cook meals, however there are no grocery stores within walking distance; all require use of a car. We enjoyed our time in this Air BNB - it was convenient for me because my office is just down the street. There is some dining nearby, but definitely better food outside of Old Town. Despite arriving when the cleaners were still at the apartment (at 3pm), the floors were still dirty, leaving lots of dust and debris on our socks when we walked around the house. Some surfaces in the bathroom weren't very clean, but we were provided with some laundry pods and were able to re-wash towels. Overall it was a good place to stay at a fair price. The owners were communicative and friendly!

Emily, sorry about the floors, We have addressed this with the cleaners (for reference, they let us know that they did forgo their usual 2nd pass on the floors with a dry swifter since you arrived just as they were finishing). While there are not any groceries in walking distance you can order from Whole Food, Trader Joes and Vons right up the hill and the delivery fee is very minimal. Great location in Old Town SD! Walked to dining and shopping daily. We went for my son's Marine graduation and it was sooo close. Perfect location to get on and off the base. Easy on and off the freeway and close to downtown. It was wonderful having a garage. It made us feel safe and able to explore without worry. We would stay here again.

Our stay was peaceful and it was in reasonable distance from where we wanted to visit. The neighborhood is quiet and the unit is secure and private. Aside from the coffee maker not operational, everything was great. I am sure that had I communicated that small problem it would have been corrected. I recommend Si's place for those wishing to stay in Olde Town.

The apartment was updated with AC. Clean. In a great location to be able to do activities (parks, beaches). Modern appliances. Good view of San Diego off the balcony. Host is very responsive to text messages.

We had a great stay here. The place is simply appointed, but has everything you need. Communication was great. Location was ideal. Nearby airport noise wasn't a problem for us at all. Would stay again for sure.

It was as described. The home was clean,comfortable and overall a great place. The location is accessible to everything. Everywhere we went took lest than 20 min. Balboa park, Downtown , little italy and of course Old Town eateries and shopping is walking distance from Sal’s place. I definitely will be back!

Everything was amazing! The house was fully equipped with everything, and we definitely appreciated the tide pods and dryer sheets. The location was great and it was relaxing that you could still faintly hear the airplanes flying in and out. The mattresses were firm but I was pleasantly surprised when I woke up after having a great nights sleep and no soreness. Another appreciation was the text I received that we could check in early, it was helpful with as many suitcases we were dragging around. I am definitely bookmarking this place for future stays, and recommending to anyone traveling to San Diego.

This place is amazing! Very clean and it has all the things you need in the bathroom, room, kitchen. The house is very homey and felt really safe and comfortable staying here. Si is super nice and very accommodating. So easy to communicate with. Instructions are easy to follow! Me and my family didn't have any problems at all. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who's looking for a place in SD!! I love how this place is close to everything (airport, downtown SD, Little Italy, etc). Good location! Definitely coming back to rent this place!!

We loved our stay here! We rented a car and the provided garage parking was such a life saver. Location is very close to all of San Diego’s Tik-Tok worth attractions. There was plenty of room to sleep the 3 of us and Si’s place was so clean!

A great place in a great location to get to so many places in San Diego. Apartment was very comfortable and very clean. Having your own parking space was a huge plus. It’s very close to the freeway but you can’t hear a thing with the doors closed.

We enjoyed staying at Si’s place. It was great for my me, my husband and one year old. We were very thankful for the pack n play and were pleasantly surprised with the extra mattress for the pack n play. Had a small issue with getting in but he answered right away on the messenger and we got in quickly thereafter. Only recommendations would be a baby gate for the stairs and would recommend bringing a loud fan or noise machine to drown out the airplanes at night. Once we got our fan set up we had no issue with sleeping. The neighborhood was very walkable and felt safe. Super nice kitchen and just overall a great Airbnb. Would stay here again

We really enjoyed staying at Dan's place in San Diego. It was a convenient location to Old Town restaurants and downtown San Diego. The whole townhouse was very clean and comfortable. The garage was an added benefit! Would definitely recommended this place.

Dan's 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom is in a great location for exploring San Diego. Communication was clear and prompt, the place was clean and spacious, and having a garage to park our car was convenient. Our family would definitely stay again when in town.

We wanted to be close to MCRD, and this cute little place was it! The entrance at Gate 5 is just down the hill, which was so convenient on the early mornings leading up to our new Marine's graduation! The place was very cute and clean, had everything we needed, and was spacious enough for all of us. The view from the balcony is very nice. It is also nice and quiet other than a few train whistles. We enjoyed close proximity to Old Town, the Whaley House, and tons of restaurants. We are very happy with our stay!

This condo is what we expected. Plenty of room for 4. Not a lot of frills. However, the garage space was invaluable! Old Towne is only a mile away, with other amenities along the way. Wonderful restaurants are a mile away in the other direction. Great freeway access. Close to everything. The unit could use a deep cleaning, and an upgrade to the linens would be welcome. A larger, comfortable bed in the Primary bedroom would be a nice add. My husband is over 6' and the bed was not comfortable for him. We would stay here again. Location, location, location.

Condo was clean, comfortable bedrooms (spacious master bedroom and bath), kitchen decently stocked with cooking/baking supplies (which we didn’t use) and plates/glasses, etc. Comfortable living area and nice balcony to sit on. Location good, it was short distance to anywhere we went for the most part. Only downside was noise from the freeway (not so much from the airport) but it didn’t affect us while sleeping since bedrooms in the back, but I didn’t enjoy sitting outside as much as I usually do (but I still sat there and enjoyed the view). Overall it was a pleasant stay and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

The stay was enjoyable and the location is great. The only issue I have with this host is that the cleanup deposit required is EXCESSIVE. It equates to almost another nights stay. He says that it's needed so that his cleanup crew is adequately compensated. He also requires his occupants to clean, empty trash, and do dishes before leaving so what's left for his cleanup crew to do? I think it's just a scam to get more money that he keeps for himself.

This property was exactly what was advertised. The hosts were kind and accommodating. Within walking distance to a few different restaurants and a short drive to the beach, a mall and other restaurants. We found the unit to be quite quiet and it was enjoyable sitting on the patio and people watching. Will book this exact property in the future!
