We (2 couples) stayed at The Succulent House during a recent visit to San Diego. The communication with Aaron was excellent, the location of the property could not be better, and the house was perfect! The house was spotlessly clean and well-appointed. Everything we could possibly need for a great stay was there. The off-street parking is a huge plus. The neighborhood street parking is limited and not having to find a place to park in the evenings was wonderful. Plenty of things to do are in walking distance including the beach! Thanks for a wonderful stay, Aaron. We will be coming back to San Diego in the fall and will look forward to staying at The Succulent House again.

Great location. Space was good--bedrooms nice size, back patio very nice, kitchen small but had everything needed. Clean. Nice to have off street parking. Decorations were a little lacking (abundance of plastic plants was odd) but the place had everything you needed and a great location which made up for the decor.

We had a wonderful stay at The Succulent House! Clean, comfortable, and in a very nice neighborhood. We cook during our stays and the kitchen was well-stocked. Some standouts are the spacious living room and kitchen, comfortable beds, large master bathroom shower, nicely furnished backyard, walkable neighborhood (to the beach, stores and restaurants) with friendly people (mostly walking their dogs), and off-street parking. This is a definite must for booking!

Best of both possible worlds: lovely home in quiet pristine neighborhood but super close and walkable to lively Pacific Beach restaurants, waterfront. Steps away from wonderful Faneuil St Park. Super comfortable home, we even used pull out couch in living room which was amazingly comfortable for a great stay for family visit that included 4 adults over the holidays. Central heat and air big plus. Great washer drier, 2 bath and kitchen for extended stay. Well equipped for beach and cooking. Easy access to San Diego tourist attractions but in the nicest residential area of Pacific Beach and highly walkable. Wonderful stay

We spent quite a bit of time here so we really got a good feel for this house. It really felt like home. Everything we needed was provided(minus some extra hangars, lol) especially extra towels and blankets. Having the washer and dryer was a huge plus. All soaps from kitchen to bathroom were also provided. We walked everyday to various coffee houses and felt very safe in the neighborhood. Would definitely stay again!

Overall, we had a nice stay. The location is great, and we loved being able to walk to the bay on most days. There were a few minor inconveniences that could be improved. On the first day, we opened the freezer to find an overflow of ice cubes due to a broken ice machine. When I reached out to Aaron, he asked for us to check the model number, but I ended up having to fix it myself. We were traveling with our toddler, and the bathtub faucets were a bit finicky, which made bath time more challenging. Lastly, we couldn’t find any tissues in the house. Aaron suggested looking under each sink, but none were provided. These were small issues, but addressing them could make future stays even more comfortable. Overall, it was a fine stay.

The host was very responsive to questions we had. Even suggested a shopping service before we arrived. The house was very nice furnished and clean. It was quiet and only about a 15 minute walk to the beach. Would absolutely book there again.

Great location within walking distance to bay and short bike ride to beach. Quiet neighborhood - enjoyed the front porch and back patio. Outdoor shower for rinsing off sandy feet was fantastic! Beach chairs and sand toys provided. Comfortable beds and nice bathroom towels. Very clean throughout. Kitchen more spacious than typical for this size house with ample dishes, glassware/plastic cups, utensils and a separate prep island/surface. Wonderful master bathroom shower. TV, WiFi, etc. all functioned well without any issues. We used the AC a few times, which most places near the bay/beach do not have. Prompt responses to questions via texting. I highly recommend this home and would love to stay here again!

The home was clean and in a prime location. Perfect for our family. The only downfalls were, the lack of grass or dirt in the backyard for the dogs to potty. We also had planned to grill, but were unable to as the grill was very dirty.

This rental was one of the best places I’ve stayed in! The place was clean, had central air, beach gear such as chairs and an umbrella, great location, and above all, amazing customer service. Great spot, quiet and very comfortable. Nice interior and pleasant art work, linens, furniture, etc. Beautifully landscaped and all the amenities you need for a great stay. They even have stuff for the beach. Only drawback is that how to run the thermostat and turn on some lights are hard to figure out. A guestbook with instructions would be nice as the ones online are super basic, hard to find and not very helpful. Beware the entry door keypad is finicky and enters #s you don't push. Have to do it more than once to get open.

Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood just a short walk from the bay and a nice park. Loved having a driveway to park in so we didn’t have to drive around looking for parking. House is close to lots restaurants and grocery stores, and an easy drive to the ocean boardwalk. Home was well outfitted for a day at the beach with towels, umbrella, chairs and boogie boards. We really enjoyed staying here and would definitely choose to stay here again!

Very good communication. The house is well equipped. The air conditioning is very efficient and quick. It's very appreciated to have a bathroom for each bedroom. Great stay, wish it could've been longer. The dogs were very happy here, especially with the beach just blocks away and a great floorplan for them to wander between the front and back yards. For those with dogs, note the front yard isn't completely fenced in, its open at the ramp but still worked well. Great amenities and nice touches with luggage racks in each bedroom, huge gas grill, beach chairs and friendly neighbors. Felt right at home and can't wait to come back! Thank you Aaron!

Excellent rental, especially if traveling with pets. We had two medium-sized dogs with us, and they seemed right at home. The location was great -- walkable to everything that Pacific Beach has to offer but on a quiet street. Fast WiFi. Lovely fenced-in patio.

Comfortable home by the beach. Walked into the home and first noticed how clean it smelled. There is so much to do in the area - restaurants, coffee shops, and the beach is right down the street. Would definitely stay again!

The home looks just like the pictures- clean and simple yet with all the necessities you could need to be comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, there were ample linens, blankets, towels and the washer/dryer worked great. The back yard patio area was nice but nothing to write home about. The front yard was a great place to lay in the sun or sit on the porch and have a drink (coffee or adult bevvy). Our daughter loved crawling around exploring and the place was pretty well baby proofed despite being technically baby proofed. The highlight was walking to Fanuel Park on the bay just two blocks away. In the AM the bay is so peaceful and serene- great for morning walks after breakfast. There is a designated play area for kids at the park with swings, slides and toys that people have donated to be used there. Restaurants and shopping were about a 7-10 min walk. The actual beach is about a 15 minute walk. We would stay here again. Thanks!

The home is in a very quiet neighborhood but only a couple blocks from the beach, grocery stores and restaurant. The home was very comfortable with great beds and linens and was very clean. Everything we needed was at the house and we appreciated the parking spot beside the house. We had a few afternoons of sun so enjoyed sitting out front on the porch.

Wonderful rental in Pacific Beach. The house is immaculate and well stocked with kitchen and bathroom supplies, extra blankets, and beach gear. Very easy and safe walk to the bay and beach. The house was exactly as shown in the pictures. He sent us the Property Guide which we can find everything we need to know. The neighborhood was quiet. Many people were walking with dogs. It was nice to have our parking place. If you walk for 10 min, you can find many places to eat.

lovely place to stay with my family! my 2 kids love the place and space for them. the living area was their favourite! we love it, they have everything sufficiently stocked! clean and kids-friendly house! love how you can park right at the doorstep in the driveway!

Super clean and looked like the pictures. Host was responsive in a timely manner. Was flexible and let us check in early. Great stay! Would stay here again in the future.

Great house in a great location. Awesome outdoor spaces, pretty spacious living room and kitchen too. Had plenty of towels, sheets, blankets, etc and kitchen was fully stocked. Hosts were very communicative. Would stay again for sure

Nice little home just blocks from the bay, clean and comfortable. Smaller than we expected, but fine for our short stay. Note there are no room darkening shades, so bring a sleep mask if sensitive to light at night. Lots of street and house lights right outside the master.

Very cute unit, excellent location, outdoor space is a nice bonus. Neighborhood is quiet but walking distance to the lagoon and a 5 minute drive to the beach. Some beach equipment (cooler, chairs, umbrella etc) was provided as well.

This property is ideal for two couples or a small family. It has a cozy and comfortable vibe. The bay and beach are a close walking distance including some of the best restaurants in Pacific Beach. Ralph's grocery is also only a few blocks away. It is also less than half an hour away to La Jolla, downtown and other popular attractions. It is also located in a nice neighborhood. We felt safe walking even late at night. The house was clean and had everything we needed including a well appointed kitchen. In fact, we grilled steaks one night and thoroughly enjoyed a quiet evening at the back patio. The washer and dryer was also a convenient bonus. We will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!!

The Succulent House was ideal for our week in Pacific Beach! Clean, comfortable, private, close to all the spots we wanted to visit, eat or shop at. Communication with the host was easy and responsive. We enjoyed our stay immensely!

We rented this place for a week of spring break with our kiddos. Super convenient location in a nice and quiet neighborhood. Easy access to great restaurants, beaches, etc. Driveway parking was priceless as the street parking was fairly tight. Kitchen could have been better stocked with spices, aluminum foil, and cooking basics, but had enough pots, pans, and utensils. The outside shower was great for getting cleaned off after a day at the beach.

Our family of three loved this place! The location was great. Close walking distance to the beach and restaurants; several grocery store options were within a mile. Nice neighborhood. House was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed, including kitchenware, coffeemaker, bathroom soaps, shampoos; television with streaming capabilities; plenty of throw blankets; plenty of electrical outlets. Convenient driveway to park our car. Operator was very communicative, friendly, accommodating. We would stay here again when in the area!

Check in was easy, parking in the driveway was a must with how quick street parking filled up. Everything was as advertised. Great location to be close to everything and good food within walking distance. Very pleased, would return again
